I've tried both of Skellington Manor's escape experiences, and loved them. These are immersive puzzle experiences that require creativity, cooperation, and a lot of mental power to solve. Both are well thought out and crafted, and they're definitely challenging; if your group makes it to the solution, it will likely be in the last minutes.
"The Heist" is a nice intro to escape games; the puzzles are a bit simpler, and the layout makes group interaction easy. Even so, you may need some clues (handily provided by the unobtrusive game monitor). It's a great way to get familiar with how these games work, and a fun experience.
"Missing" is a more advanced game, with a darker tone, greater difficulty, and necessarily longer running time. It makes amazing use of Skellington Manor's unique architecture as a setting, and builds a complex, believable story around the location; the end result is truly immersive, and more than a little creepy. By the time you reach the end, you'll be thoroughly invested. But your group will have to really focus as a team, and divide up tasks to get everything done. It is definitely a challenge!
I really recommend getting your team together and doing The Heist, then trying Missing. Having that previous teamwork experience could make all the difference. Don't be discouraged if it takes more...
Read moreI am a TAG teacher and wanted to connect my curriculum with a real-life experience. We were participating in breakout.edu for several assignments, and we thought it would be fun to do a real escape room. I had some trouble finding an establishment that would take on a group of 8th graders, until I spoke with the folks at Skellington Manor. They were so accommodating and nice. The escape rooms were AMAZING!!! The students had SO much fun! The escape room was hard enough to challenge them, and each student was engaged the entire time. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Skellington...
Read moreI’d highly recommend this facility and escape room. I booked both rooms for a party of 16 adults. ( 8 in each). We did Get Looney and The Heist. The rooms were extremely well done with extensive decorations with period pieces related to the plot. This was the first escape room I had done but I’ll definitely come back. It was clean, Penny the owner was easy to work with, returned me phone calls and we all had a great time. I was amazed at the amount of technical clues that required us to all work together as a team. We solved both rooms with seconds to spare. Thank you Skellington...
