Pastor Robb is a truly inclusive and welcoming pastor. His sermons are creative (Bible according to Broadway, the Kindness Campaign, Peanuts) and Biblically based. The church's mission outreach is impressive from the meal site, to the free little pantry, to adopting area schools, and reaching out to first responders.
The diversity in church (even across native countries) is unique and pretty special. Today, for world communion Sunday the communion bread was made by a family from Burundi. I LOVE the example this highlights for my kids.
One final note: the Sunday school and confirmation experience were excellent. The group of kids is welcoming and fun and many of the activities branch across the ages. Some of the church activities are multi-generational. In fact, two of my kids now have home-bound shut-in pen pals. It's simple lovely and truly connects them to other faithful adults.
