G2 Dispensary Rockaway NJ — Attraction in Rockaway

Let me start off by saying I recommend checking other local dispensaries like Kind Kush for better deals on the same products. The appearance of the building and the inside is clean and it is a nice facility located in a strip mall with lots of parking. They had a smelling bar which I thought was a nice touch. The store was dead quiet on the inside besides the staff. They are in a competitive market but don’t seem to want to be competitive with their pricing and deals. They have price matched products for me in the past when I find better deals at other local dispensaries. However on my most recent visit they told my friend I went in with that they don’t price match, which I knew to not be true but kept my mouth shut because it seemed to upset my friend and I didn’t want them to get into a dispute with the manager. The frustrating thing is that my friend called and asked if they’d price match before we drove there and wasted our time so none of it made any sense to me. I figured I would just allow it to play out at that point and alert the consumers with a review instead. I’m omitting two stars for G2 because they could have a better understanding of the market and pricing and work on customer service. If they improved in those areas I believe they’d have a good amount of regular clientele. It will require them taking a deeper look into the surrounding areas pricing and what deals are being offered for the same products nearby and keeping their finger on the pulse etc. I gave them three stars based on my previous two good experiences where they did price match for me and for it being clean and enjoying the aesthetic inside, it could be a much better experience for customers with some improvements...

I called an hour before coming because a competitor had a sale going on for the same product. I asked them if they would price match the competitors $70 price vs their 109.99 for the same item. I was told that they “don't really price match but come in and we'll do it for you" I've never been here before and thought great a new store to add to the list of local stores that will offer good deals. When I got to the store the manager came out and was helping my 2 friends sale that I brought them in to spend money as well. When it was my turn they were all talking amongst themselves behind the counter of how they won't be doing a price match but for the girl no to worry as the manager will handle it and then tried to offer a coupon that was significantly less off. There are now 3 other dispensaries within 10 minutes from G2. Look at the other stores menus and compare prices before you come here. Over what would have been $20 more of a discount at most they ended up losing sales from 3 customers and I will never step foot in G2 again. Poor customer service, prices that are significantly higher than all other stores in the area and management/employees that will lie right to your face and on the phone and give you misinformation. There's a reason nobody mentions this store and goes to the other ones...

I went to this dispensary, and what a great spot. I ordered a batch and the quality wasn't good at all. 50% of the batch was sticks. Long time smoker here 35 years plus.... I contacted the dispensary, they were so kind about my situation and I have nothing but nice things to say about them. However, I was forewarned about the woman at the ID check... and now I understand why people warned me. She isn't the nicest, most inviting person. Not the best kind of character to be greeted by. She asked if i had the " sample of bad weed, or a photo " ( which i did have) Otherwise.... i recommend checking...
