ReCreate — Attraction in Rocklin

Found this great craft supply shop by accident, but it is now my go-to for all things crafty. I usually buy fabric and sewing notions, but they also carry party and office supplies. Beading and jewelry findings, stamping and scrapbooking everything! Craft books, sewing machines, quilting and all hand sewing supplies. Yarn, needles, hooks, counters, patterns, partially finished projects. The prices are great since everything in the store was donated.

Another perk is the crafting area in the front of the store. For an hourly fee you and your children can choose from hundreds of bins of materials and make just about any project you can think of.

Really great for teachers seeking art and classroom supplies. There is a special closet where teachers can choose materials for serious discounts! And, teachers can signup for trained, credentialed and vetted volunteers to come to your school to teach STEAM lessons.

Even if you aren’t from the area, this store is truly worth a visit.

Love this place. I can't believe I only recently found out about this place. It has a similar concept to the East Bay Depot in Oakland and SCRAP in SF only this one is not nearly as big. People donate their items (can be ANYTHING) and they resell it for CHEAP! Bonus here is that everything is donation based, whereas the ones in the bay kind of have a set price...depending on the mood of the cashier (you win some, you lose some).

Support your local artists and donate some good stuff, or just donate to be an awesome human being.

I wish I could give this place 1,000 stars! ⭐️ I have so much love and respect for ReCreate, it fills an important environmental niche in reducing craft waste and serves a role in the community by offering a place for creatives to gather and pursue creative projects affordably. I love browsing the store for treasures and chatting with the kindest employees. I always leave with more than I expected and paying less than I expected.
