Mattress Firm Blue Oaks — Hotel in Rocklin

Espie and Ken both get a 5-star review from me! I came into the Blue Oaks yesterday and Espie spent a lot of time with me, patiently giving me an education in mattresses. I had an endless stream of questions, and she was up to the task, and was also very up-front, offering me more information than I knew even to ask for. She offered me all kinds of discounts, saving me $1100 on my new king-sized bed! I can’t wait for its delivery this weekend!

I came back today, only because I had wanted the interest-free financing, and due to an error all mine, I screwed that up yesterday. Espie wasn’t there today, as she normally works at the Pleasant Grove store. But Ken was super helpful in reversing the charges for me, then helping me with the financing process. He was tenacious, in fact, as there were a couple of hiccups with the process, and after a couple of phone calls, success! Thank you, Ken, for saving me a bunch of interest on that purchase!

I knew exactly the mattress I wanted and looked up my local mattress firm location on google maps with the intention of calling to check availability. I realized that the store had already closed, but there was a button that allowed me to initiate a text message. Very quickly I was having an exchange with a real person, not a bot.

I texted Jarron all the things that I wanted and he put an order together, emailed me an invoice to pay and my purchase will be available for pick up on Tuesday. It was simple, straightforward and easy.

I live in a rural area about 50 miles outside of town so delivery can be difficult and for me personally, it’s easiest just to be able to pick it up myself. This is something that is not allowed at many stores including Macy’s which is why I did not purchase from them.

We have been buying our mattress's from Sleep train which has now changed to Mattress Firm for over 10 years. So when we needed a new mattress to help with my low back pain we went shopping and we did shop around. Our final stop was Mattress Firm where the store manager Jerry greeted us and asked us questions about what we were looking for in a mattress and our past experiences. We then tried out several types of mattresses and I said you know I really like this mattress at another store. He smiled and asked what kind of mattress it was. I had saved the information in my phone so I gave him the name and he said follow me. They had the exact same mattress and they had a version of it the other store didn't they we fell in love with.
