Mavis Tires & Brakes — Attraction in Rockmart

I have purchased Mavis tires before and really like the store chain, but I ESPECIALLY like the store in Rockmart, and ESPECIALLY Jess. That is my "go to" store now. They do EVERYTHING. I've had three of the best experiences I could ask.for. Jess usually meets customers outside (if she isn't busy) and askes how she can help. I feel the employees there are honest, understanding and try to give me the most bang for my buck. A great example would be when I took my Jeep in to have my tires rotated, which is a free service when you buy the tires there, they noticed that I needed some new parts on my jeep. I believe the parts were called sway arms, but I’m not sure. Lol. Anyway, they explained why the part needed replacing and what the part did. As it turns out, I had been having issues with my jeep and didn’t know why. The part they Replaced took care of the issue I was having. I.was so thankful. The jeep drives great now without the extra away when going around curves. It could have been dangerous driving the jeep as it was. I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to tires or the workings of a car for that matter. Today I was helped by another gentleman along with Jess. Mr. Daughtry was very nice and helpful. EDIT/UPDATE: Chris (Manager) Reached out within an hour of my review and explained that the location was under different management and wanted to resolve the issue. He replaced my back brakes free labor (i had the brakes) and is buying a new set of lock lugs/socket and installing for free as well! Great guy and is definitely trying to make up for whatever moron was there before hand. would recommend coming to this location and if you have had an issue before hand, reach out! Went to this location for a tire rotation a couple months ago after being recommended to it. Recently went to do a brake change and noticed my passenger lock lug was gone and my lock socket was completely DESTROYED. Luckily i was able to get my driver side tire off because the lock lug was HAND TIGHT. i am now not able to get my rear tires off because the lock socket will not catch for obvious reasons. Completely unprofessional and blew my mind when i realized it was completely destroyed. Something as simple as a rotation cannot be trusted at this location. 6/6/24- Wanted to leave another great review. Drove up to Mavis in Rockmart this morning to get a boat trailer tire patched. The nice gentleman got my tire out the back of my truck. Spoke with the nice gentleman inside the shop and within a few minutes later told me the screw in my tire did not penetrate inside my tire (thank you Lord) and there would be no need for a patch. My husband and I had just ran over the screw bending it into the middle of the tread. No air was lost after one week, no holes, and the tire looked in good shape. I am so grateful to these men for their honesty and great work ethics. They could have taken advantage of a woman not knowing anything about tires yet they were 100% honest and THAT is what will keep our business and our families & friends.
