DO NOT GO HERE - WARNING!! This was the worst experience I have ever had! Dr. Smith (who is not an MD, by the way? Odd) was incredibly flippant when I came in, and when I repeatedly indicated that my kidney was the problem, he roughly proceeded to punch both of my sides to find out. When I cried out in pain and begged for him to stop he left the room and I did not see him again. The staff administered the rest of the care and was very sympathetic and nice. I left there worse than when I came in, with no advisement to the severity of my condition.
Funny thing - I went to the emergency room directly after where they recognized right away that I had a serious problem and they immediately admitted me to the hospital where I spent 3 days in the intensive care, but Justin Smith just sent me home with a shot and advised some bed rest. He even gave me a prescription for Tordol - when I took it to the pharmacy they wouldn't fill it because it damages the kidneys and that was where I was having a problem!!
I waited to give this review as I did not receive a charge and I wanted to discuss it before I left negative feedback. I did not hear from Justin Smith or his office at all until I received a bill almost 3 months later requesting my insurance information. I had not heard from him previously regarding my test results that he charged me for or anything else.
When I called Justin Smith's office to discuss my disappointment, the "doctor" called me back directly.
He implied that the only reason I was calling was because I was poor and could not pay my bills?!? He also let me know how busy he was - odd that he would have time to call me himself.
He also let me know that money was the bottom line for him. I gladly told him that I would send over my insurance information and then spend every opportunity I could warning others about his shoddy bedside manners, treatment and aftercare. I can not warn enough - if you have ANY other option,...
Read moreI injured my ankle and was unsure if it was fractured or badly sprained, so we chose to go to the urgent care instead of the ER, since it was cheaper. This choice is still plaguing me 5 years later.
When we arrived they took my driver's license and insurance information. I told the receptionist that the address on my license had changed as we moved over a year ago, and she said that shouldn't be a problem. They never took the correct address... and this is where the problem started.
The office was shabby, the office staff lackadaisical and the doctor was harried, but I can deal with that. I NEVER received a bill. I wrongly assumed my insurance had covered the full balance, and forgot about it. I discovered in 2012 that they had reported me to a COLLECTIONS AGENCY over a matter of $13! They billed my insurance, and sent the remaining balance to the wrong address for over a year. This had a HUGE impact on my credit score when I trying to secure a loan to make repairs to my flooded home.
I called the collections agency, who felt it wasn't worth their time to pursue this issue, who then redirected me to settle the balance with the urgent care. In theory, after I paid urgent care they would then contact the collectors and they would rectify my credit report. I paid the balance over the phone with the promise that they would contact the collectors within 30 days. This was 3 years ago.
My credit report gets pulled again to secure a loan to purchase a new home, and guess what is still on there? An outstanding $13 balance. Rocky River Urgent Care is a black hole of despair and ruin. My bank documentation doesn't extend back to 2012, so I have no proof that I paid the bill. I guess I will have to pay this bill IN PERSON, then physically dial the collection agency's number and demand the billing department to remove the account.
Rocky River Urgent Care will probably not fix your health issue and may even ruin your...

My mother went in with a sinus infection. No one in the waiting room. 10 people behind the counter. All just talking, didn't acknowledge her , just told her to sign in and continued their conversation about plans they had Friday night.
After waiting a little while they called her back. Not only did the BP cuff break while taking her vitals, they recorded her BP with the broken cuff. It was reading extremely high. She told the doctor it was broken once he walked in. They didn't take her BP again until she asked them to.
The doctor prescribed her with an antibiotic with extreme side effects of suicidal thought's, night terrors, anxiety, ect.. Without explaining what the possible side effects could be to her. My mother suffers from anxiety already, she should not have been given an antibiotic like this. My poor mother thought she was going crazy. It took a few days before we realized the antibiotics were the reasoning for her breakdown. Needless to say WE will never go back to this place. It is such ashamed because it is close to my house.
Please take this warning before going into this Urgent Care. I would make a trip to a hospital 30 minutes away before subjecting myself to...
