Attended Styx concert and like the venue, but there could be some improvement if they continue to finally bring quality entertainment to N.W. Georgia. Getting into the venue wasn't bad. Probably a more thorough metal detection process than places closer to Atlanta and I don't think that is a bad thing either. Staff was friendly and courteous. Easy to find our seats, but be prepared to sit in plastic folding chairs if you have floor seats. Only reason I mentioned this is because it may not be for some people with a disability. Staff did offer to remove the chair if needed to accommodate my wife but we didn't need to. Bathroom was clean and convenient to our seats. I was really surprised to see they didn't have a dedicated concession area. Instead, it puts up folding tables in a corner near the entrance. I feel a venue of this caliber should have a full service permanent food area. I also noticed the same for merchandise vendors. They set up tables in the middle of the main hallway, which at times was too crowded for flow of people including people with handicap. We look forward to seeing more concerts from relevant entertainment going forward to make this place to utilize often. I will update my review after my next visit and a more thorough look at...

I was really looking forward to the Gary Allan concert at the Forum River Center, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The venue is small, yet the sound was turned up so loud it felt like we were in a full-sized football stadium—completely overwhelming and hard to enjoy.
The seating was also very uncomfortable, not suitable for sitting through a full concert. On top of that, there’s not nearly enough parking near the venue. We had to walk quite a distance just to get there, which added more frustration to the night.
The crowd made things worse. I watched several people get outrageous amounts of alcohol—some were clearly already drunk and came stumbling back with six more beers. The environment was loud, chaotic, and filled with people shouting wild obscenities and behaving inappropriately. It felt more like a rowdy bar than a concert, and it definitely wasn’t a place I’d recommend bringing kids.
All in all, this venue and this particular concert were a major letdown. Cole Swindell was a better show with the sound a bit...
Read moreStyx was excellent!! Jet Black Roses was excellent also!! The concerts are wonderful!! However, The Forum decided for some reason to close multiple sections that they had sold seats in and not alert ticket holders. They ended up with dozens of ticket holders wandering around trying to figure out what to do. Luckily I came upon Fletcher, a magnificent staff member who took care of this issue for us and gave us great seats. I watched as many others were sent to bleachers to sit instead of the seats they had purchased and saw angry faces and hands waving out of frustration. We even had people walk up to us and ask us where the missing sections were!! I told them to go find a staff member and explained they had closed the sections for some unknown reason. People were lost and asking anyone they could find for help. Why not put up a sign at the closed sections at least that said “if your tickets are for this section, please see a staff member”???? Anything would...
