This is an absolute amazing place. It's almost as though you have stepped back in time just a little. It has a small concession area and a gathering room near the restroom facilities. It is handicap friendly, however finding a close handicap parking spot nearby may be a little hard to find depending on what event and day you attend. Nonetheless, parking is everywhere and don't have to pay after 6 pm according to city website. So, we attended the Rocky Horror Picture Show with ShadowCast from Rome's Little Theater. It was great having the movie and acting all at the same time. Definitely check out the upcoming events for sure. Update: Support local business including this one. Still top notch for a evening out.

Lovely old theater that is lovingly maintained. This theater sponsors lots of great events, like the Polar Express Christmas readings, plays, events, and live music performances. Parking is a little harrowing. Do not park on Broad St! You have to pay or be towed! Otherwise, no issues there.

While in town for Going Caching, we went to a play at this cute theatre. They performed Clue 🕵️ Such a good, and funny, show! The stage was very well done and constructed. My favorite performer was Mrs. White…she was cracking me up 🤣 Highly recommend!

I moved to Rome originally in 2005 and was always fascinated with the DeSoto, and community theater. I never made it there, and even moved away for a while. I recently returned Rome sweet Rome and today my 9 year old and I caught Alice in Wonderland. The kids were fantastic! The theater was magical, and the day was an entire success! Thanks DeSoto, we will be back...

If I could rate ZERO I would. My father and I came to the theater on a slow day to have my autistic niece see the theater, there was a woman outside changing the marquee. We asked her if we could have a look inside. She was RUDE and made a DISGUSTING comment about my NIECE. DONT GO HERE. THEY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST...
