City Creamery is so cute and nostalgic, plus they have lots and lots of menu options for frozen treats and specialty drinks. There are also tons of old fashioned classic candies there and a wide selection of novelty sodas...even a record bin full of vinyl you can purchase. I'm pretty sure I also saw record players for sell there....fun place!! Additionally, the building was formerly occupied by the historic Rivoli Theatre, which was Rome's oldest picture house, owned and operated by my great-grandfather, OC Lam, Sr since 1916. City Creamery has several items of memorabilia from the theater on display, which adds a nice touch. I don't know why I didn't take photos of our treats, but they were very tasty! I had frozen yogurt with toppings. My daughter had hand scooped ice cream, and my husband had a root beer float. All were high quality and delicious! The employees were helpful and kind, and the shop was spotless.

Stopped by The City Creamery in Rome hoping for a cool treat, but the inside of the store was surprisingly warm, which took away from the ice cream shop vibe. Several of the ice cream machines were out of order, limiting the flavor options. A police officer was stationed inside keeping watch, which was a bit unexpected and added to an odd atmosphere. The store and restrooms could definitely use a deep clean. On the positive side, the décor is fun and creative, giving the place a quirky charm, and there’s a great selection of unique candy options you don’t find everywhere. With some maintenance, better cleanliness, and working equipment, this could be a much more enjoyable stop.

What a fun place! First, the atmosphere grabbed our attention. Fantastic colors and lighting beckoned us to go in and take a look around. The second thing that captured our attention was the enormous selection (you'll find vegan soft serve here~see the picture below)! Willy Wonka has nothing on this place! Next we were happy to discover that one of the owners was running the place. He is generous and very friendly and didn't mind chatting with us. Finally, the taste of everything made us very happy!

It's just ice cream w- coffee flavoring. I'm not here to knock anyone, but this ain't coffee. It's sweet, and pretty tasty on some; but if y'all want the REAL coffee flow and BRILLIANT flavor(??); Then Walk on down to see a BEAUTIFUL, STRONG, GORGEOUSLY SUPER KIND & ALWAYS AMICABLE HAWAIIAN QUEEN 😍💞🤟💕💞💞 down @OhanaPacificCafe !!!

#OhanaPacificCafe is SO MUCH BETTER!!! It's LEGIT, and SO MANY other great Boba Tea options, etc. TRUST ME!!! OHANA is WHERE IT'S AT! Don't waste your money here ... Unless you just wanna look at cute wall ornaments and spend WAY too much money on ice cream (sorda, kinda "coffee-ish"😏👎) 3 out of 10 on the BENJY-MAN Scale... And that's only generous bc I'm not a mean guy (I hope😬✌️♥️)

Instead, Grab a cup from OHANA and WALK AROUND! Meet folks! Enjoy the Community, Great weather, Broad St, & the PEOPLE on a nice day in Downtown Rome w- a MOST TASTY tropical beverage or Blue MTN, Kona cold iced coffee, etc, ETC from OHANA!

There's sugar cream drinks, then there's THE REAL THING! Get the REAL THING & enjoy a Beautiful, Kind, Loving Face at OHANA💞 !!! TRUST ME y'all. I know good beverages and GOOD PEOPLE!! ✌️

Love y'all! Be kind! Support Local Businesses, BUILD UP COMMUNITY & HUMANITY!!! Thanks for the platform!!! 💚💚💚💞💞💞💞 #Mahalo Mi...

My daughter LOVES going to 'The Creamery'. I’ve been taking her there since it’s inception 7, 8, years ago when she was just three? Yet, while I at first loved the eccentric, eclectic nature and vibe, it’s overdone now. They’re trying too hard. This isn’t a problem for most, but coming from someone with brain cancer and seizures, in addition to being a laid back, down to Earth, Georgia girl, this is too much and quite frankly, over stimulating at some points. On my last visit, it took me seriously less than a minute fooling with my iPhone before deciding to pull out my debit and paying the old fashioned way, as it were. This absolutely infuriated the pimple faced kids who were working behind the register. I’m not that old, but they acted as if I were some old senile fool pulling change from their underwear. I didn’t leave a tip that day because of that, so here’s your tip: don’t be jerks! I still have to give it two stars because my now ten year old is obsessed with going there and the fro-yo and ice cream flavors. I did like some of the nostalgic stuff in the shop part, like the Bob Ross toy- my grandma was obsessed with him. Yet, after paying close to $16 for a pound or less of jelly beans, no more shopping when my kid insists on going in The...

The most OVER priced ice cream place I have ever been to in my whole 55 years of living!!! No prices posted. (Gee, I wonder why). The self serving custard with toppings, the setup certainly encourages you to help your self, and then we will weigh your cup and give you the outrageous price you have to pay when you bring it to the counter. I couldn't get a definite price out of them, so the one guy was like, "Get what you want, then we weigh it." I just went for it. The price he told me to pay at the counter made my jaw hit the floor!!! For the price of 2 medium cups of custard and some toppings, you could go to Publix and get 3 quarts of their organic ice cream, and buy a topping, Or, 3 half gallon ice creams of another brand!!! They don't want to advertise the prices of their products. And, they are not quick to give you a real estimate of what you will be paying per ounce. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and just thought it would be about the average price of most ice creameries. If you are not rich, and you don't know exactly how much your cup is going to cost you. You will definitely walk out of there with...
