This is a beautiful 110-year-old facility. But it's expected to do something it wasn't built for. Host audiences for national performers. We attended the Chonda Pierce concert on 3/30/2025. The first confusion came with parking. Is the back lot available for public parking? The city sign is ambiguous. Fortunately, a parking ramp was across the street and free. The ticket takers were loosey goosey, without any electronic device to scan our tickets. He literally said "Come on in." The building itself is stately and clean. But the seats are not designed or built for the chubbo's of the 21st century. They appear to be from the 1950's. Half the theater was comfortable and half was hot. Read moreIt is a beautiful auditorium but I would warn anyone with hips or that is of heavier build that the seats are very small. My family members of average size felt smushed together but I had to perch on the edge of my seat as my hips just simply would not fit. The arm rests are stuck into place so you cannot even get that additional wiggle room. So I guess this is less of a review and more of just a tip for anyone who hasn't been...
