Roswell German POW Iron Cross — Attraction in Roswell

This park is mostly a path along the flood canal. There are some really cool artifacts and the POW/MIA panel is awesome. The historical German iron cross in the side of the canal is interesting. I'm giving the park 4 stars because it's a memorial site more than a park, there is a lot of parking, but little to no park in the traditional sense. Great place to reflect on history and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this...

Not sure where this was. I stopped at a park to let my dogs out, I went to Walmart /Murphy for gasoline, and I went down a very long back road to get back to the freeway, so I probably passed this at some point. Roswell is a very interesting town and deserves another visit in my future!!

Saw this "trailer" attached to the back of a motorcycle!! Very interesting! Looks like an alien has landed...

I love finding little bits of unknown history in a community. If it was not for geocaching, I would have missed this stop. People forget the impact of WW2 and the sacrifice and dedication communities had to face. This stop reminds us WW2 was not just in Europe and did touch everyone. There is also a piece of the Berlin Wall very close in this rememberence park...
