My stay here began with an exceptional employee that was very helpful and ended with an employee with zero people skills. The room was quite comfortable and clean and offers in room shower gel and Conditioner dispensers that were actually really good. The nighttime male attendant helped me fix an issue with my booking and got me checked in as smoothly as possible and had a great attitude. The next day I booked online for one more night and the owner of the place informed me that I needed to pay a $100 deposit, which I wasn't required to do the night before. I pd the deposit and checked out the next day. After getting off work, I needed to send 2 more nights and again booked online in my husbands nane, using his Wyndham rewards. Upon checking in the attendant insisted that I get my ID and cc for her to verify, even though the room was in my husband's name and he was there. I used a virtual card to pay and explained that to her and my license was buried in my luggage and it would be difficult to get to. She still insisted that I show my ID and that I have a physical cc to show her. As I finally dug the required ID out she tells my husband that we must pay a 250 deposit. She proceeded to get loud and became very rude as we explained we had recently stayed there and refused to call the owner, instead suggesting we just go somewhere else. She used derogatory language and we lost about 10000 reward points and had an overall very bad attitude. Days Inn will never get my...
Read moreUpon checking in to the hotel, I was told that pets were not allowed in the downstairs units, and they keep them this way for people with allergies. I have ESA cats and also a disability, so they told me that a room would have to be comprised to make this adjustment as they had me in an upstairs room. So they gave me the downstairs room, and there were already other people with dogs in the room right next to us. Not pet friendly, huh?
My cats were only ever out of their carriers in the bathroom, if you travel, I’m sure you know that any knew place isn’t somewhere to just let them roam free, they need to adjust and therefor I never even let them out of the bathroom.
The hotel charged me an additional $250 fee because apparently, my cats “damaged a chair”. How? My cats were never even out of the bathroom!! So I called and the owner still would not lift the cost. Seriously? The lady told me that the rooms that are pet friendly are checked entirely for any pet damage between customers to make sure this doesn’t happen. Which is funny when they told me the night before that the room was not pet friendly and had to be compromised. So they’re telling me it’s not possible that it could have been the person before me, because the room was checked thoroughly.
I would not stay here and all and will be telling everyone to steer clear, these people are just here to lie to you and will charge you for damage that...
Read moreThe rooms were not cleaned properly. The bathroom flooded after ONE shower because they don’t have the proper shower curtains. I had to go to front desk and ask for more towels since they only give you two in the room. The poor boy at the desk look frustrated when he saw that the cleaning ladies only left him two extra towels. We asked for four but that obviously wasn’t his fault. Cleaning ladies just aren’t doing their job. Breakfast was gross. I wish I had the breakfast everyone else was talking about. I stayed at a Days inn not too far from here and it was wonderful. This was nasty. Water flavored eggs, water flavored gravy, no fruits other than two black bananas. The three desk clerks I met were okay, the boy who got us our towels late at night was the nicest but I do not see what everyone’s hype is over the service. It’s basic. Ambulance with pulled up about 6 rooms down from ours late at night…when you pull into the parking lot you could probably make your own assumption as to why. The pillows are those awful cubed pillows? Clean enough to sleep in an emergency but will NEVER recommend here. I wouldn’t be writing this review if I didn’t have to pay OVER 100 dollars for something that’s only worth 60. I’ve stayed at Days inn all over the country. All over this state of enchantment. This Days inn is by far the worst I’ve stayed in. I should have taken...
