Very bad experience with this merchant. The computer repair they performed went bad within a few months. They were not willing to work with me on it or make the situation better. The merchant had a very rude and uncaring attitude about the situation.
Response to Owner's response: This merchant is making up something that is not true. I never spilled anything on it to begin with and didn't spill anything on it the 2nd time. I told him this over the phone. There was no liquid damage. He tried to make this up over the phone to make the customer look bad. What I think happened was he ordered cheap parts and they went bad. He was very rude on the phone and I asked him if he was willing to work with me on this issue. His response was no. His response on here is he does not have time for this nonsense. I guess if you treat your customers who paid about $250 for a repair and the repair goes bad within a few months as nonsense this review is the nonsense you get. It doesn't matter what your policy is, it matters what is reasonable. Is it reasonable for a $250 keyboard repair on a $700 laptop to go bad within a few months? The prices are reasonable, my computer was fixed and returned to me the same day I dropped it off, and the business owner, James, offered to help with any questions I may have in the future over the phone, free of charge. I will definitely be returning to Synergies and will be recommending it to any friends who need computer service and repair in the future.
Beyond the positive aspects mentioned above, my favorite part of the service at Synergies is the absolute lack of bullshit that is unavoidable at a large chain like Best Buy or the like. I was in and out of the place quickly and received helpful information promptly and clearly. James also followed up his work with me on the phone as he was performing it to make sure I was OK with anything he did with my computer. Read moreI came in with a damaged keyboard (water damage, totally my fault) and the person that helped me was extremely friendly and patient. Unfortunately, due to the manufacturer of my laptop, he was unable to order a replacement keyboard (not his fault at all, 100% ASUS’ fault). He did, however, kindly explain that I would need to reach out to the manufacturer and that he would be happy to perform the repair (and quoted a super reasonable price given the work involved) if I were able to order a replacement keyboard myself. Ultimately, however, ASUS won’t send me a replacement keyboard, so I will have to send it in to them for repairs.
While I obviously (and unfortunately) can’t rate the quality of the services themselves, he was extremely friendly, patient and helpful. I won’t hesitate to return to Synergies for any future issues...
