I live across the street from this park. Personally, as a person who has a grown-up in the City of Royal Oak, this park was overlooked by me till I moved across the street from it. It is well maintained and set up for families to have a great time at. There are even old-time Tonka Trucks to play in the sand with. The park is also 4 legged friendly, so don't forget to stop at the Bark Box and grab a stick for your dog to play fetch with. There is a ball field. Picnic tables . Read moreSuper clean park but could use some more trash cans and maybe some spare picnic tables in the shade of some of the trees. Perfect for picnicking because there is a huge, grassy, open area with lots of trees (sun or shade) next to all the playground and pavillion area. I took my son here with his dad for their first fathers day yesterday and there were quite a few families there who were also picnicking and playing with their kids in the sandbox/on the playground.
