Taco Bell — Restaurant in Royal Oak

I don't usually go to this Taco Bell. The ordering clerk, wasn't professional in her tone of voice nor was her attitude over the speaker. I ordered a Mexican pizza and Tostada. I pulled up to pay and the lady stuck her hand out with the card reader in her hand. I have not had this happen before. I just kinda stared at the thing she had in her hand and as I did she waved her hand with the card reader in it, at me. Kinda of like ok lady come on, put your card in already. She wasn't too friendly. I said to myself I will not visit this location again. I got to my destination and started eating. My tostada shell was Stale. I called to talk to the manager and she was also not very professional, but ultimately said she would replace the item. I came today to have my item replaced and with it I ordered myself other food. When I got to my destination to eat my food. Again the Tostada shell was stale in addition to my taco shell. I then called for that reason in addition to not being given a receipt nor a straw for my drink. Also I ordered Mild and Fire sauce. I received ONE Fire sauce and about 7 mild. Ugh! Yet again the manager wasn't as professional as I would have hoped and by the way this was a different Manager than my prior visit. The manager did say he would replace my items.

If this happens again I'm thinking I'll need to call the corporate office. Furthermore, there wasn't an apology in either conversation I had with the two different managers and there wasn't a little small shiny peice of paper offered for my inconvenience. I have had an issue before at another location and when they make a mistake on your order they give you one of those papers. I did not...

I gave 2 stars because only 2/5 times do I have a good experience. This is my first bad review of a place ever bc I've worked in similar industries that always get hammered and usually hate to complain. But i come here often and it's almost always bad. Extremely long wait times is a guarantee. Yesterday I waited in drive through for 10 minutes to be told at the box their registers were down and couldn't accept orders. Today they're out of rice... EVERYTHING HAS RICE. How does taco bell run out of rice? There's a taco bell cantina a mile down the road on main street in royal oak. Never been, but I'm not coming back here so I guess I'll go there. If I could bold face this part I would- The employees are excellent. This is at no fault of them! As somebody formerly in a service industry i will guarantee they are short staffed (Thursday at 10pm) which is unacceptable. Spend money to make money. It is a managers fault they ran out of ingrediants. It is upper managements fault they haven't approved the manager to hire further employees. That to me is unacceptable. If corporate reads this, fix it. Hire more staff. You'll reduce wait times bc I tell you, I always wait 15 minutes minimum here. They have lines around the build through the parking lot and out into the street... I blame corporate taco bell for being so f*g cheap and I wont...

This Taco Bell is known for being slow, which I can handle sometimes, but after today and the attitude received from employees while attempting to order (and then not even receiving the correct items), I will not be returning. The AI order machine wasn’t reading what were saying so the employee asked what we wanted, and then didn’t listen at all so we had to repeat 1 minute later when he finally returned (no apology, just “what did you want?”). After this, we asked for extra cheeses for the nacho fries and paid extra for them, which again, no big deal. We did not receive 3 items from the order, 1 item was incorrect, and there were no extra cheeses. The cheese we did received had so little in it you could see the bottom of the cup. Upon calling to inform them of the issue they said, with an attitude, “are you just bullshitting right now?” This will be escalated because of the unprofessional manner of the employees after not providing the service/items that were paid for. Very disappointing. Would not recommend anyone to come to this location - on top of being the slowest Taco Bell around the employees lack basic respect and...
