Chicken Shack Royal Oak 11 Mile — Restaurant in Royal Oak

I when to chicken shack 1320 East11 mile Rd. this was my first visit at the store and last visit he served me Old chicken and the chicken was dry and not good.. absolutely awful. My french fries had been fried about three times and I got very sick from this Food Chicken to the point where I took pictures and I think the board of health should step in the chicken had to have been made the day before or early in the morning and it should have been thrown in the garbage, but because I was hungry I did eat a piece and a half. I threw up everywhere. My stomach was hurting and when I smelled the chicken, something was not right I am a great fan of chicken shack chicken but I always use Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak on Woodward Street. I want to talk to the owner concerning this issue. I did see the guy he kept looking at me I should have asked for my money back. I've been going to this location for some time but yesterday was the last. I placed a very specific order and when I picked it up, that's not what was in the box. I spoke with both the person that took the order and the manager and they both blew me off, just saying "we understand". This actually isn't the first time this has happened but yesterday was the last straw. Their food is not cheap and ifI'm asking for something specific, that shouldn't be a problem. The manager even said that he wasn't told about my specific request. After all of that, the manager offered to cook another order but they were about to close and I didn't want to wait for another failed meal because they really just wanted me to leave. The vibes were felt. Please take some professionalism classes on how to simply be kind. Do not recommend this location. Find another Chicken...

I’ve been going to chicken shack most of my life. For the last several years we’ve been ordering virtually the same thing. The full slab with two sides those sides being potatoes and mushrooms. Well today they told me that the mushrooms don’t come as a side and when I questioned it they said it never has. The manager was very rude told me I was full of it that he’s worked there for 22 years and the mushrooms have never been an included side. I just made this order three weeks ago or so without a problem now all of a sudden there’s a problem. New manager? Not sure. I tell you one thing I will never go to that chicken shack again.
