Grizzly's Bears — Attraction in Ruidoso

We bought a wooden bear (paid almost $160) from this store in June, 2018. Within 3 weeks the bear started having multiple cracks (some of them were almost 1 inch wide). We contacted Rob Adams (owner of the shop). Rob was very reluctant and rude from the very beginning of the conversation when we requested him to take care of the bear. I even sent him pictures of the bear with the cracks showing how bad it looks with the cracks. He still said he could only try to fix them but would not replace the bear while it was their fault in making such items that would crack and break so fast. Finally, my sister took the bear to Rob and he did a horrible job in fixing the bear. He did not even bother to patch some cosmetic defects that he caused while repairing. My sister brought those fragments with her (in a bag) and now we would need to patch the bear by ourselves while it was Rob's job. He was very rude to my sister. I would never recommend Grizzly's Bears to anybody who would like to buy durable bears and professional post-sale customer support. The owner Rob Adams seemed racist, and very rude to us. Bears are very cute and I was close to buying the one pictured despite having no shipping options. We were going to just buy it and take it on as carry on but lady was very standoffish and not very personable. I can only assume because we were wearing a mask and she didn't want to interact with us because it was hard to hear? Maybe she was having a bad day and rather take care of other customers there? Regardless, I'm just really disappointed because I really liked the bear and was willing to pay to ship it home ourselves if we needed too. Maybe next time if we are in town we can try again but the whole experience just left a bad taste in our mouths. My boyfriend and his mom was also very disappointed in the service too, so it wasn't just me. Prices are very reasonable. The one pictured was $160 and a good size. At least I got to pet a very cute and friendly orange tabby cat who came up to me wanting all the pets and scratches. If only the human service was...
