It was a little challenging. I was out of breath in the first minute and half bc it was a little steep in the beginning. Definitely wear tennis shoes that are not all worn out because some of the rocks are smooth already or have loose gravel and can be a bit slippy at times. It seems easy to forget how you came up when you get to the top and you can end up seeing a different trail down. So maybe try to be aware of the spot you started. We came to via the trail head- but when we got down it was a totally different spot and was an unmarked trail (though you could tell it has plenty foot traffic) im pretty sure is was a longer way down 😅🤦‍♀️. Bring plenty of water!! I froze half a Gatorade and poured some unfrozen Gatorade in there and it held up quite well! Was so glad to have that. So that last photo of the two boys.... they took a picture for us with the camera and they also took a selfie of themselves 🤣🤣 so sharing here!

Went couple years ago and a really fun experience, I recommend going with people for your safety especially if you arent familiar with the mountain/area it was overall beautiful and worth the climb up although on the way down definitely take your time you will and can get heavily injured with a wrong move, and avoid going into areas that are closed off (some people still like to go anyway so take this as your warning not to go in forbidden areas

I hiked up here in January, it was pretty awesome a short but strenuous trail it is very steep and rocky in certain spots and if it’s wet it’s very slippery definitely be careful and have proper footwear. The views are well worth the hike, and you can connect to other trails as well.
