The Guild Theater — Attraction in Sacramento

I've lived in Sacramento my entire life and don't recall ever visiting the Guild Theater. Shame on me! I recently gifted tickets to a comedy show and took my 95-year-young mother with me. We were so impressed with the Guild Theater. What a wonderful building inside and out. The Jury Experience is a worthy experience! The audience is the jury for a trial and gets to participate throughout the play, not just the ending vote on guilt or innocence. The topic is AI - a self-driving car kills a bike rider swerving to avoid a head-on collision. Morality and ethical questions arise and the character of the inventor is suspect. A nice intimate theater! I was pleasantly impressed at finding a convenient local theater that was in good condition. Seats were comfortable, sound & lighting were good - overall happy with the experience.

Parking was interesting. A fairly small lot was filled by the time we got there (just after the doors opened), but I was able to find street parking about a block away near the post office.
