A friend and I came to this boba spot on September 17th around 5:00 p.m. . When we got there the place was definitely busy. There were four groups of three people sitting around the tables when we got there and there were a good number of online orders from folks coming through. Service overall was actually quite quick given the fact that the two individuals behind the counter were cranking out orders left and right. I will also say that we were greeted warmly when we got there and were asked if it was our first time we said yes and they gave us a quick rundown about how the menu works.
I will say that I was really impressed and excited that the additional 80 cents for the toppings was towards three additional toppings. Originally I thought it was 80 cents per topping but that was not the case. In one of the pictures I uploaded it shows you the topping options that are included in the additional 80 cents charge.
After we ordered our drinks we sat at the tables and listened to the music that was in the background and that was actually quite pleasant. The people around us were talking at a normal level and we could have a conversation of our own without any disruptions.
Regarding the two drinks themselves my friend did like his he said he would have liked the boba to be a little less firm, but for myself I did like the texture because I like more of a bite to my boba.
The one thing I will comment on even though I put a low percentage of sugar because I added additional jellies the sugar syrup that those toppings were in did increase the sweetness of my drink which then didn't really allow me to taste the actual tea that I had ordered.
So next time I would definitely be mindful of the toppings I ordered because the tea seems to not be as strong and flavor to withstand additional toppings that might have a more powerful taste or...
Read moreI really enjoyed wushiland. I came on a Wednesday around 4 PM. And most tables were full, but there were a couple open. I met a friend here for the first time. Parking, however, at this time was pretty difficult. There were only 2 spots open in the whole parking lot and schools not even in session. So I could only imagine how busy it'll eventually get.
There are 2 kiosks that you order your drinks on and for their soft Opening the 10% discount was automatically added. I ordered the roasted oolong milk tea ($5.24) with 30% sugar and with grass jelly ($0.80). The grass jelly was really soft. And honestly, the texture was not as firm as I had liked. So I wish that they would fix the texture on the grass jelly. The cup sizes are relatively large, 24 oz, and the drinks are relatively cheap - my milk tea was $5.24 before toppings.
One thing to note is that they give a lot of toppings like A LOT. 1/3 of your cup, so I opted to get less toppings. Which is an option when you're ordering. I also got a double shot of tea, and honestly I don't know what that means. But next time, I will ask. There didn't seem to be an extra charge for that. I really liked my roasted oolong milk tea. It had a strong Tea flavor which I really appreciated.
I live really close which is dangerous because I can see myself coming here now as my go...
Read moreI was so excited to see that Wushiland was opening in NorCal! When you first walk in you see the shops iconic vibrant yellow. They have ordering kiosks and and if you prefer you can order with a bobarista at the front. I really enjoyed their milk tea with the mini pearls and grass jelly. They are a heavy topping kinda place which I LIVE FOR. Lots of great topping options. My favorite is the classic boba, grass jelly and the mini boba. If they are out of boba, which happened the first time I arrived they’ll be sure to let you know and write down the status update of when to expect the next batch right at the front on their chalkboard. There are a handful of tables and chairs and a long bench along the wall so if you’re looking to stop in to do a little studying or friend meet up you...
