Most loved place of adults and children! My grandchildren had the time of their life playing in the fairytales from the 3 pigs with REAL PIGS to Old Woman who lived in a shoe, The little engine that could, ect ect ect. A place that brings you back to your childhood as you enjoy watching the wonder and amazement of your youngsters. Theres live animals that are so well cared for and extremely clean pens, clean water and food and all appear extremely healthy. The children can touch many of the animals and theres handwashing at each exhibit. Each exhibit coincides with a fairytale. The dplay equipment all coincides with fairytales and is in excellent condition and all very maintained and in safe working order. All throughout Fairytale town they have a river flowing but it's very little water. They might have a couple inches at deepest but the blue paint appears as water. Really good admission prices. I paid for 1 child and 2 adults 22.00 total. What a fun day with very little expense. The staff is friendly and helpful. A woman had her child run off and she was immediately assisted by every staff member until the child was located. I was very impressed because when a child goes missing you want EVERYONE to know and assist to until found. That they did. I'd suggest that protocol be changed so that NOBODY can leave or enter, gates close until missing children are located I'm sure every parent would agree if faced with same situation. Still I was impressed at the urgency of the staff. Parking is close , right outside gate, disabled parking is in front and very close. Sacramento Zoo is directly accross street in 1 min walk. Sunderland amusement park is across the street in opposite direction and also within walking distance. It's a full day of family fun. Many schools have taken advantage of these great adventures for Fieldtrips. I highly suggest coming here with your children age 1 to 101! Never had so much fun watching kids have...
Read moreBook party reservations for Arthurs Castle and was not happy with the overall party experience. I was disappointed that there was not a birthday banner which was stated that it was included in the package. The host, Marcus, stated that the girl banner was only available and he couldn’t find the boy one, this should have been brought to my attention ahead of time or removed from the included package. Our host did not start the party session on time and he was less than enthusiastic. I could barely hear him and he kept disappearing. It felt like he didn’t want to be there. I wanted to do the crown ceremony but he responded with whenever you’re ready and it didn’t happen. I felt like I had to push him to get things down. My son didn’t get to play the pin the crown on the frog game and arts and craft was not organized. He started cutting and rolling the paper very very slowly for the sword, which the prep should have been done ahead of time instead of using the party time to do it. The kids had to wait to do the coloring because of that. My son didn’t get crowned until the end because I insisted that I want it done. He would have loved wearing the crown the entire party session instead of just 5 mins. It really upset me that we paid for this and it didn’t happen. No banner no game. If I had this unpleasant experience I’m sure the next party may have too. It also felt like he was trying to prep the other party when my session was still going too. This is unacceptable.
Luckily he is a kid and still had a good time. Fairytale town itself was fun for the kiddos with...

I just had my 3 yr old's bday party here and I'm definitely disappointed with what I received for the price. Total cost was $393 and all it included was 90 minutes at shaded picnic benches, plastic table cloths, and a small basket of napkins, plates and utensils; and then the kids got to play. (and then of course, you are bringing your own drinks, food, cups etc. which was another huge cost)
Plus piñata and balloons are not allowed, so decoration options are limited.
The package included a "Host" to do two crafts with the kids, but the hosts were just young and very unengaging. They really were not prepared, or organized and they didn't really help in any capacity.
The "Flower headband craft" was just a piece of construction paper and they had markers to draw on it and some little cut-outs to glue on it and then they tied it around their head. The "Windchime" craft was a paper cup with beads and a ribbon will a bell on the end taped to it. Not very cute crafts at all. lol
Pretty much every section to play in just had a slide. and some photo ops, so even they play time got boring quick for the kids.
1000% I would have gone to a park for free if I would have known it would be this...lame. 😅 Oh well, what we do for our kids.
Oh, and I was supposed to get tickets to com back another day, butt hey didn't...
