Come back to update my review as I had said. Guys where nice to order a part i couldnt find very easily which was great. My problem came when it had to be picked up. Waited untill Monday night as the guy told me to. Called the store got tossed to multiple people and about 2 maybe 3 diffremt people to which being told yes its avaliable to pickup. Great. I run a small non profit personal computer repair in essexville i didnt want to drive the entire way to find that it hadnt arrived yet. Varified with whoever on the phone that i could pick it up and was told yes.
About 45 minutes to an hour later i arrived to be told they didnt have the item ready to be picked up and i asked the guy to re-verify it to be sure as i did not drive the entire way to waist fuel and time. Stood there for what felt like a 20 maybe 30 minutes while the guys are calling people for information on it and searching the store like i didnt just call them to pick it up. From customet service on the phones to customer service inside is horrendous. I mean dont get me wrong i appreciate you guys ordering the part but the whole runaround only affects not just your customers time but also mine as i had to order the part then drive out to pick up the part as well. Guy replies with yea i make that drive everyday
Sure you do but do you take the drive for nothing? No your driving out to work and get paid just like i was. I was on my own company time pausing what i had to do for another customer just so i could drive out and pick said item up. Had you not had the part then it wouldve been a waist of fuel and time away from the office for nothing. So i would expect a bit more understanding. Again yes you make the drive everyday but your getting paid if i drive out for nothing it affecfs my fuel, vehichle wear and tear, my time and money so dont get to full of yourself just because you also do the drive. Af least you don't show up to work to be told oh we dont need you which is the equivalent of whaf my situation would've been had the part not been there as i was told on the phone.
Would avoid this place unless it was last resort again definetly will find myself a better managed company because wow this place takes the cake for disorganized and they got irriated because i didnt want to leave the laptop with them lol. Who knows what wouldve happened to it with how disorganized they are. Your better than that...
Read moreI purchased 3 games for my wii player which had only been used a handful of times. Pulled out for the grandkids.1 of 3 games worked. The cheapest one worked. I discovered this a week prior to the 30 day no return. Within a day of discovering I contracted influenza A. I'm in my 60's w/auto immunities so recovery was difficult & lengthy. It took a month and exhausted me. My thoughts were on survival not returning faulty video games. It was another couple weeks after my recovery that the issue resurfaced on the games. I knew I was beyond the 30 days but thought maybe I could exchange not refund. I suppose I could have tried to return the games and infected countless people but...no. The store manager refused to work with me. So I'm just stuck with 2 blank games. They weren't even set up to check the games but it didn't matter cuz they wouldn't even exchange. I get they have this 30 day no return which is why I didn't expect a refund. But there were circumstances beyond my control. But ok. They just lost a Customer that would have bought a lot more games way beyond what an exchange would have cost them. I'm now buying from Amazon. I found a connecter there that was $10 less than what Media Reload charged. Plus Amazon has the game that I couldn't find there. Amazon has a 30 day return policy but that turns into 60 days total when you request the refund. 30 days to request and 30 to return. I can do it from home. I've also noticed 2 other game places so I'll be...
Read moreSupporting the small community merchant is crucial after the Financial Tsunami. I was looking to buy a Garmin Drivesmart 50LMT Model GPS and I found the Media Reload on Ebay and searched from Google found it's store picture.
I doubt i will received an used or seller refurb. version, but once the item arrived, I realized the GPS is brand new and the total is just less than $120 making it is a great deals.
I feel supporting the small community merchant is crucial to maintain the community economy stay healthy, so why we still need to pay more for the large multinational company to buy a same product?
