[Update Feb 17th 2024 4 years later this place still struggles even when it is not busy. Still an unsanitary setting. It is almost 4pm, not busy at all, none of the tables are clean. Staff seems stressed and untrained, especially when it comes to sanitary practices. Gloves should only be worn when handling food, not touching the computer, counter, or anything else. There is no point, if the gloveless staff are touching the same things. Touching those things then grabbing donuts, and preparing food with the same gloves. This unit is in the middle of a large shopping district, it should be bumping here throughout the day. The manager or franchise owner should be asking the other units for advice, because money isn't coming through the door as it sits. Fix it or step aside.]
The young dude who was slammed and working as quick as he could did an excellent job serving me while his older co worker stood behind him by an oven and stared at the small line forming(no greeting at all, maybe he is supposed to stay there so stuff doesnt get burned Im not sure how that works) before turning and playing with his phone with his food prep gloves still on. That is not sanitary, and shouldnt even be a thing before the covid stuff happened....
Read moreToday is the day I finally gave up on Tim Hortons I deleted the app and the service was HORRIBLE. I went inside told the cashier I wanted a 2 for $5 farmers wrap the first thing she said it’s 2 for $6. I then showed her my app showing it’s says 2 for $5. She then went another worker ask her about it the app then someone said we out of hash browns.( It’s 10:30am and you guys are out of hash browns). Ok then I ask what do you have for breakfast, cashier stated everything on the menu except for hash browns. I then order a sausage biscuit meal. Then a worker from the side said “we don’t have any biscuits either. I was highly disappointed I left out feeling unsatisfied with the company service. This is not the first time this happen to me in there either. Most of the workers say they don’t no about the apps on the phones say that they haven’t been train to use the apps when customers uses them. The store needs better training with its staff. I will not be coming back...
Read moreIt is OK. Went to the lobby to walk in at 9:45 AM and it was locked. Sign said lobby hours start at 10!!! Thought this was odd for a breakfast type place but Covid may be taking it's toll on staffing levels as most places are experiencing. Went through drive thru. Order taken , 2 dozen assorted. Order taker sounded a bit flat. No welcome to Tim Bortons type greeting? Lady at the pay window was pleasant. Pay transaction was smooth. Building looked clean and organized as I left the place. Got home and was a bit disappointed at the assortment. Primarily glazed type . My grandaughter noticed there were no sprinkles or cream filled as shown on the box. I would have expected a better assortment if they make them. I will say the doughnuts were tasty and fresh however. Again spent $20 on doughnuts and just felt "OK" about the buying...
