UPDATE Jan 30 2025: I went back the new personal was amazing, my daughter had such a blast this time! I really regained my love for this place Hopefully anybody who had a bad experience can give this place a second chance. 🩷
I have been coming to this place this past year but this will be my last. We got a very bad treatment from an old lady that works there. We visited to support the anniversary and we left very sad. Right after the owner left the other short older woman started screaming at the kids and moms. She got into a little girls face telling her to not play up the slide. I understand the rulea but she never once approach a parent it was just her mistreating the kids directly.
A father had played with a snake up on the games and when my daughter got interested he hand it over to her. The old lady screamed from below "no toys" and proceeded to hop inside and very rudely take it from my daughters hand to later her telling my kid that she was "Not allowed to play with the snake at all."
There were two other moms with about 4 kids total who came in and left after this same lady kept screaming around at everyone. The mom seemed very upset at it seemed this lady had screamed in her daughters face prior to them deciding to leave.
I have been chatting and seeing my daughter play I completly lost track of time! This lady came up to me as I was leaving handing me over the pay machine with no comment. I was confused I don't understand if she was expecting me to read her mind? I asked her what the machine was for? She procceded to rudely tell me I had to pay I had been over my time. I told her that was okay I would pay it but she didn't had to tell us with such a bad attitude.
Everything about the anniversary was such a bad time with that lady. Talking with the other mommies we were all upset with what happened that day. Please don't work at a place you don't have the patience for, little kids are still learning to be in society. You go to these places for them to have fun and explore. It was very hostile left such a bad taste...
Read moreWe recently celebrated our daughter's 6th birthday at this indoor playground in St. Augustine, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From start to finish, everything was so well prepared, creating a magical atmosphere that added to the joy of the celebration.
The communication beforehand made the planning process a breeze. What stood out the most was the enthusiasm and friendliness of the staff. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our celebration was special. They were not only accommodating but also incredibly helpful throughout the entire celebration. Their attention to detail truly made a difference, and it was evident that they genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience for our daughter and her friends.
The indoor playground itself was a delight for the kids – a vibrant and safe space where they could play and explore. The variety of activities and play areas kept the children engaged and entertained throughout the celebration. The facility was well-maintained, and safety measures were clearly a priority.
Our guests were equally impressed, and many of them expressed how much they enjoyed the venue. The overall feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with parents and children alike raving about the fantastic time they had.
In conclusion, we cannot express our gratitude enough for the outstanding service and experience provided by Ready Set Play. It truly made our daughter's 6th birthday a day to remember. Read moreDisappointing. for the kids. Drove a long way hoping to Let my young kids play and distract from the anxieties of this upcoming storm. We were relieved to find an open place to gain some recreation. I didn’t realize there was a very strict height limit. Should advertise clearly that it’s a place for very young kids. I’d guess Max age 5. This is NOT intuitive when one sees such a large play space. Most places this size have general play— and a smaller area for littles. Measurements change as kids grow so quickly -it can be hard to keep up with the precision this place expects for admission— (off by an inch and kids will be turned away). perhaps something more clear like an age range would avoid frustration, tears and knashing of the teeth 😓. Parenting is complicated enough. Why not make this sort of thing clear within the first line or 2 of the online business description ? More transparency online would help. Before families make the commitment to go in person for the first time only to see the large signs in person and be...
