Definitely disappointed customer I called and made an appointment. I told the receptionist exactly what was going on with my hair and asked for an appointment with enough time for the stylist to be able to analyze my situation to give me what I needed. I was given an appointment for 2:15 PM when I showed up my hairstylist Nikki a blonde came down, and was rushing me upstairs. She was short with me and very rude. She told me that she was double booked, and that she only had about 20 minutes worth of time to spend with me and even if she started service on me, I was going to have to leave with wet hair and have to come back to finish my service because the receptionist only put me down for a partial foil, which I never asked for because I don’t want my hair bleached or highlighted , the stylist was actually telling me “you need to make up your mind right now if you want me to start the service on you or not because I’ll have to go between you and the other client because I’m double booked” and was smacking her hand while she was telling me that, very unprofessional made me feel like she was blaming me that she was double booked, and that the receptionist put me down for a partial 20 min foil service, but in my opinion, no kind of color appointment should be made for 20 minutes period. Any kind of hair appointment is in between 2 to 4 hours minimum. A complete waste of my day by the time this happened it was too late to book anywhere else and then they have the audacity to ask me if I would like to rebook with them in two weeks when they finally had an opening and I told them I didn’t feel comfortable rebooking with them because of how this was handled today. The receptionist was very apologetic but now I don’t trust a salon who doesn’t listen to a customer and double books clients then blames the client. very disappointing as they came highly recommended from my friend and the amount of money. I was recommended to a specific stylist here by a friend for a balayage and haircut. She was booking a little over two weeks out so I took her 1st available afternoon appointment. I get a text from her two hours prior to my appointment, cancelling due to “falling asleep by the pool and getting too badly sunburned.” She then tried to schedule me out another 10 days so I called the salon to request the 1st available stylist. They scheduled me for the next day at 4:00 pm and I arrived about 3:50 to check in. I didn’t get called back until 4:25 and the front desk staff was not friendly or helpful, not even looking at me or letting me know my stylist was running behind. I showed her an inspiration picture and she stated that she didn’t like a lot of contrast like that and she could do something for me that would be “low maintenance” which resulted in a 3 hour, $200 appointment that left my hair looking almost EXACTLY THE SAME. I’ve been coming to this salon for years, mostly the Cottleville location due to proximity, (however both locations are great) and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The atmosphere is welcoming and professional, and the professionals I’ve worked with—Laura, Karen, Wren, and Faith—always take the time to really understand what I’m hoping to achieve. I feel cared for not just as a client, but as a person.

Karen and Laura have worked with me over the past six years to grow out and beautifully blend my grey hair, and I’m so impressed with the results. I usually come in for glosses and trims, but honestly, I find myself looking for excuses to book blowouts or makeup applications because they make me feel so polished and confident.
