Comfortably Yours — Attraction in Saint Clair Shores

Yesterday, in preparation for my daughters wedding one week away we decided to go to this establishment as suggested by Lane Bryant staff. I’m a chunky middle aged lady. I wanted a one piece body shaper for a smooth look under mother of the bride’s dress. We called enroute to see if they carried corsettes and body shapers. The lady who answered the phone had an attitude to begin with. Like she was too busy to answer my questions. I didn’t ask her to go looking for anything just simple questions if they carried certain things. So we arrive and go in the store. A sales lady approaches us. I ask about body shapers. I wanted to try some. Have never had one. The sales lady’s name was something like Ayida or something like that. Can’t remember exactly how to spell. Immediately she sways me away from the idea of a body shaper with an insulting comment saying it’s no good for “girls like us”. What’s that supposed to mean? At least give me the satisfaction of trying one so I can see for myself, but no she insists I would have to go with bra and girdle, claiming she’s been doing this a long time, she does lots of bridal groups and she knows best. Fine. We go to the dressing room. She takes my bra measurements. Then tells me to take off my top and bra and she’ll be right back. What am I in a doctor’s office? I’ve never been here before and I don’t know this lady. I’m not about to get topless in front of a stranger. So I take my top off and keep my bra on. She comes back with a bra and tells me to take my bra off. I just stand there looking at her and just respond nicely that I will. Trying to give her the message that I’m not undressing in front of you. So she leaves the bra and walks out. With my back to the door, I’m working on getting this front closure long waisted bra on when she just comes inside without asking if I need help, without knocking or anything. I suddenly just feel her hand swooping over my shoulder and grabs my left breast and pulls it up to fall into the bra cup. Kinda rough there. Happened so fast I didn’t even have time to react. I was shocked she did this. First of all, who invited her into my private dressing room? I didn’t call for help. Secondly, how dare you just grab my breast without my permission? I felt so violated. I didn’t want to make a big stink about it at the moment but I think she knew I wasn’t happy because she leaves my room and complains to my daughter that she doesn’t know what I’m all upset about. She stopped serving me after that. Then the owner took over. She’s the sweetest ever and was very proper with everything with me. That said I couldn’t help but to have a word with her about how her employee handles clients. She looked disappointed and apologized saying she is aware of her doing these things and has spoken to her several times. That sales lady may know a lot about fitting ladies but if she can’t learn to be less opinionated and more service oriented and if she can’t keep her hands off people’s private parts then sooner or later she or the owner or both are going to get sued for assault. You just don’t go around grabbing their breasts. My daughter poor thing has a very fragile physique with all the surgeries she’s had in the past, all the scars on her body and all the current health issues she has. This lady has done pretty much the same thing to her. Was rather rough handling her breast even after seeing her scars. Her shoulder and breast still hurt a day later and while driving home yesterday her back went into painful spasms. This woman needs to change her ways before she becomes a liability to the store. I apologize for the long story but had to explain what happened. So be careful if you get this sales lady. The only reason I didn’t go to the police and press charges for how she hurt my daughter is because we are Christian folks snd believe in giving people a chance. But this lady doesn’t seem to be getting it. It’s the only reason for the low rating otherwise dealing with the owner was a pleasure and would have given a high...

I went today service the best. I was fitted and bra was the most comfortable. Bought two and swim suit. Kohl's nor JC Penny carry my size so sad. They really no what they are doing over 20 years in business I even tried the Avenue awful bras there. More than just bras. Shirts, purses from artists from Detroit.
