If you love baking with Bundt pans like I do, this is absolutely a dream destination. It's a small shop with a LOT of awesome stuff. I visited in mid-November, so they had autumn and Halloween things on mark-down and quite a few new winter pieces out.
The folks who work here are the nicest people and they actually wanted to help me save money---how awesome is that?! I'd found a few pieces I wanted, and one of the ladies who worked there said, "I think we have those in the back," and took me to where they have the yellow tag seconds and clearance items. Here's a helpful hint for if you shop in this area: the uglier pans are apparently the ones for industrial use, meaning they are not pretty on the outside but the interior is triple-coated and will last a lot longer because they are designed for heavy use. Read moreThe Nordic Ware Factory Store is a Bundt baker’s paradise! I love Nordic Ware pans and had one even before I moved to Minneapolis (where they're manufactured). They are really high quality pans and bundts are so fun to create awesome, decorative cakes with minimal decorating effort. It was a delight when my partner discovered the Nordic Ware Factory Store was only a 15 minute drive from us! It's a smaller store than you might imagine given the “Factory” in its name, but it's flush with Bundt pans and other baking and cooking supplies. And since it is a factory store, they sell irregulars here as well at a discount which is super nice if you're trying to find a nice Bundt on a budget! The layout of the store is great and the staff here are friendly. I definitely recommend checking out the Nordic Ware Factory Store—it’s a must if you...
Read moreI work as a pastry chef and I stand by these products! However, earlier today I had an uncomfortable experience in the store due an employee. The person at the register was doing great - my friend and I were enjoying talking with her and we were even signing up for rewards. Halfway through our interaction another employee started berating her coworker for not going fast enough and having "too much chit chat". As a guest, I felt scolded and unwelcome. I'm not one to leave a public review, but I am hoping someone sees this who can address that employee. Her "leadership" created an environment that felt rude and unsafe, and I left feeling so incredibly sorry for the person/people who had to work with her and trying not to regret...
