J A Gerber Jewelers — Attraction in Saint Paul

This was my first time hearing about and visiting this jewelry shop. I came in the day of my husband's birthday desperately looking for a new wedding band for him and I wanted to surprise him. I was in a rush because my husband had a scheduled haircut but they worked very hard to find me the perfect ring and made sure I was satisfied. They even gave me a great deal on it since I was on a budget, re-sized it, polished it and gift wrapped it all less than an hour. My husband had no idea what I was up to. . .He ended up missing his haircut appointment because of me but the smile on his face when he saw his new ring and all the kisses I received was priceless!!!

The ring was still a little tight for my husband's preference so we went back up there a few days later together and they agreed to re-size my husband's wedding band again and even polish my wedding band for FREE!! This place is awesome. We will be shopping here again. I even told my husband to go here when he picks out a new wedding band for me. My husband and I were referred to Gerber Jewelers from both good friends and family members, and I am so glad we were. We started working with them 7+ years ago when we went to pick out my engagement ring. Of course they had the perfect, recently created band & setting for my ring that I knew was made just for me! They then custom-created my wedding band to wrap around my ring and make it one-of-a-kind with the perfect mix of rose gold and white gold. We have been back several times- to create a one year anniversary band and most recently my husband surprised me with diamond earrings for our 6th wedding anniversary. I am tearing up writing this bc they have become our most favorite personal jewelers- the one and only spot we will purchase fine jewelry from! When my husband changed his mind on his wedding band (it was too nice for him since he works in the trades) they gave us a credit which they honored 6 years later when purchasing my diamond earrings. I am so lucky! I was in town for a wedding and I have a special ring I purchased for myself during my time in Cape Town and wear on my right ring side. It got bent and had a beautiful moonstone. I have been so busy at home but had a day off during my visit and after driving to check out an area of St. Paul I saw JEWELER sign! I stopped in and asked if it could be fixed.

AND IT WAS! There was a risk since it was thin and anything could happen but I knew the moment I was there that my ring was in good hands!!!! It's places like this that make me so inspired by small businesses. I was happy to read the reviews just now and see so many incredible ones since I didn't even check before going in. You know when you just know?

SO if you have something you want to fix, I have a hunch that it may be possible here. Honestly, it was a such a good experience that I hope to one day return for a custom ring!
