What a phenomenal Filipino Grocery Store in St Paul which was recommended to me by one of my good friends. As someone who never had any food Filipino food before, I had a first-time opportunity to try unbelievably delicious Lumpia in simple terms a unique iteration of egg rolls (they have a hot food take-out within this establishment too, please do not hesitate to try it.) I also bought some unique groceries that I never tried before which were tasty such as the barbecue corn chips, and the imported dried mangos that were fresh not the stuff from Costco or Aldi. Plus, the staff especially the owner were very welcoming, kind, and great to chat with. 10/10 Experience, and I will absolutely support this small business. I could tell how much love and hard work was given to have a place like this in the Twin Cities.

We found this store after a friend recommended. We wanted some very specific west African stuff and we couldn’t find it anywhere else but found it here. As soon as we entered the guy at the shop walked over and was eager to help. There was a particular item we were looking for that was not available but then he took a picture and assured us that he would get that next week. Hence he seemed very resourceful. They carry oriental, info-Chinese, Filipino, Indian, middle eastern, and west African retail and wholesale stuff. They have 10 parking spots in the back.

Breaking News!!! Phil Oriental now has a lunch and dinner Buffet with 12 different selections. Combo # 1: White rice and 2 entrees for $8.00 Combo # 2: Fried Rice or noodles with 2 entrees for $9.00 Note: $1.00 extra for beef or lechon kawali. A very nice, small family owned Filipino, Filipino grocery store, which has almost all of the Filipino treats you crave including: homemade pandasal, Filipino potato chips and snacks, rice, frozen meat, magic sarap. Etc...

Best Filipino grocery store in the area. Lots of variety and choices: fresh fruit and vegatables, dry, frozen and canned goods. Many varieties of various sauces and spices including soy sauces, fermented shrimp paste, coconut vinegar, patis, etc. Frozen foods include lumpia shanghai, lumpia wrappers, pork blood (for dinuugan) chinese sausage, barbequed pork skewers, tocono, sweet and spicy longanisa, Snacks, cookies, crackers, plantain chips, dried mango. Filipino bakery goods and desserts - including enseymada, polvoron, pastillas de leche, buko pie, hopia, ube icecream. Also sells West African groceries. During warm months, "Pinoy Fusion," a Filipino food truck is parked in front of the store for a few hours on Saturdays and Sundays. They serve delicious, fresh, hot appetizers, entrees and...

Located in St. Paul, Minnesota on University Avenue between Grotto Street North and North Avon Street. Phil Oriental has been in business for many years. It's the go-to place for Chinese and Filipino's looking for their favorite items. It's family-owned and recently added a deli which serves Pancit and Lumpia. COVID-19 rules are followed. Wear your mask. Parking on the street is available. On the west of the building is a small parking lot with a couple of handicap parking spots. Even though we live 128 miles away, we will be returning to Phil Oriental to keep stocked up on our favorites and to...
