Crescent Lake Park is my happy place. I spend a considerable amount of time at this park, lounging in the grass, hanging on a hammock, or gazing at the wildlife in the lake. It is a scenic spot with so many great niches to enjoy. The full loop around the lake is the perfect circuit to walk solo or power walk around while yapping with your bestie. The pickleball courts are always vibrant and humming with energy. The dog park is a joyous spot and has cozy shade for dogs and people alike to rest in. My favorite of all the spots is the great big expanse of grass on the north side of the field - perfect for basking in sun or frolicking! The water tower painted with fish is incredibly iconic. So iconic, in fact, that I now have framed art work of the crescent lake water tower in my home. I love this place. I will always cherish this park and my...
Read moreSeems to be a decent inner city lake/pond to walk around. However, it is ridiculous that there are no public restrooms! There are baseball fields, a big playground, pickle ball courts, dog park, big walking trail around the water, but there are no restrooms. There's always so many people there, and you will see people trying to find places to hide to urinate, especially kids at the playground. Nothing like watching mothers trying to hide their children behind a tree and block them while they go pee right onto the ground. I can't believe with the amount of money this city wastes on other ridiculous things, that they cannot put in a public restroom at such a heavily used huge park! Especially considering the massively high property taxes those of us who live here pay. Failure on the part of city of Saint...
Read moreThis park is still absolutely amazing. I have pretty much grown up in this area my whole life and was there when they put the playground in and redid it a couple years ago. The field is football size with plenty of area to play for all kids. There is multiple side walk paths around the park area and one that looks around the lake. On the opposite side there are two dog parks (big and small sided) as well as a tennis court and a hand ball wall. Every once in while you can even catch a little league game in the baseball park. I have loved this park forever and for the foreseeable future. A couple gripes would be the side walks need to be bigger. There can be a bit of foot traffic and walking through grass can come with unseen surprises. The playground could be bigger in the area...
