d-gallerie — Attraction in Saint Petersburg

I was fortunate enough to visit this gallery before this miserable pandemic and I had a wonderful experience at the gallery. I thought for sure the highlight of my visit was going to be when Bella (the owner's wonderful dog) literally met me as I was walking past the door. With a greeting like that, how could I not stop and check-out the artwork! Being something of an art novice, I didn't quite know what to expect when I walked into the gallery but I came away with a much better understanding of the "art world". The owner proved to be a terrific host and took his time walking me through the gallery and explaining any piece of art that piqued my interest. D Gallerie has a wide range of established and up-and-coming local and international artists and had pieces ranging from contemporary to "new wave". My husband bought two pieces of artwork from D Gallerie for our 35th wedding anniversary this past weekend. Alejandro, the gallery owner, was very helpful and knowledgeable about his artists and their work.
