I was being guided to hold off on this review for multiple reasons. After my experience with the crew today - I am now ready to share my honest truth. The main reason I held off on writing a review initially had to do with how the shift from taking away tips made me feel which was hurt. Not only because of this establishments choice to take away tips unless writing a review and sharing their crew members names but also on behalf of other shifts I have seen and felt taking place in the community on behalf of tips that once again do not feel good and hurt. Tips have always been an enjoyable experience for me and somehow that joy has been manipulated and twisted to be seen in a way that hurts opposed to feels good. This is why I did not want to write a review — I could feel my character being judged and tested by crew members whether it was conscious or not which made me not want to share even though it brings me joy to see crew members earn and enjoy extra cash in their pockets. That brings me to my experience with the crew today which brought light as to why my soul was hesitant in the first place. When I placed my order I almost instantly could feel the negativity in response from what felt like the crew members of this establishment. When I arrived to this establishment the overall moods reflected what I felt and this is not even close to the first time this has taken place. I have received more negativity and judgement from multiple crew members over the past few months its amazing I still choose to enjoy tipping or continue as a faithful customer. It has not been all negativity but it has been enough that when I saw tips had been taken away and the feeling I received when asked to review online — it only makes sense something did not feel right. It is almost as though a part of the negativity I received today was based upon crew members somehow knowing I have not left a review for their $5 dollar reward and it reflected deeply. Tips are a gift — why they have been made out to be anything else is absolute nonesense and harming the industry as a whole. It is already an issue for many to judge those who do not choose to tip (which they do not have to) — once again it is a gift and should not determine how you and your crew behave or treat your customers. Now it seems - not only is it an issue if people don’t tip it is an issue if they do and that’s effed up. Based out of the negative behaviors I have received throughout the past few months alone I could have very easily become one of those people but I chose love and forgiveness instead. The fact these behaviors continue to take place and somehow tips have become a part of the reason (or in this case not leaving a review) is really disheartening. This message has not been shared as clearly as it came through in my head but at this time and place I just do not care. I have two cards here - Jade and Abby both of whom were kind enough that it would bring me joy to know they received their $5 dollars. As well as at this point I do not care what happens and feel the basis of this message is more important. I have received so much negativity from multiple crew members at this establishment - any and all tips I did choose to share were that much more of a gift even if not seen as such or even appreciated. May we all learn and grow through these challenging times while reflecting upon our own negative behaviors so we can build a brighter future. Tips are not the issue — the states of minds behind tips need some serious healing. If someone does not tip should not determine how they are treated and if someone tips and even more so generously tip they should not be treated like royalty or better than anyone else. Something so beautiful has been turned into something so nasty it hurts. What better way to reflect upon ourselves and one another (especially those we work with) than by how we/they choose to view and receive tips. Mind set is everything. CHRIST shared with me to share that “Kardashian Culture” is the reason for this mess and God only knows how...
Read moreEvery time I have been here it’s been something else. Honestly I probably won’t come back after this time. I was told I had to order online, then after I ordered and waited in the space that said “curb-side pickup ONLY please wait in your car” for 7 minutes after the estimated time it took to complete my $40 order, I went inside to find employees in the back talking and someone in line, placing an order at the register… you just told me that I had to order online… so I called after about 3 minutes of waiting behind these people. I will admit I was a bit inpatient at this point as I felt I was lied to already and now I was going to have to wait again for these people to order… I called and saw the employee from the back come to the front to answer the phone, then she said she would bring the order right out and that it had no name on it… I informed her I was in the lobby… And the kicker is, I see you right now, back there, doing nothing! Plenty of you… why didn’t someone come to check and see if I had placed my order already? The employee on the back looked at me multiple times as she was leaning. Remember I saw this with my own eyes. My order was already ready and bagged up and stapled. Maybe my expectations of customer service are just too much, but I literally SAW YOUR EMPLOYEES with my own eyes in the back doing nothing… while I was waiting on bowls that were already fixed, in the parking spot that said don’t get out of my car… it should probably specify to call when you get here! You would think that the employees would be on top of that (oh there is a car in the curbside spot, let’s check it out and see what’s going on, especially since we have this order that’s been sitting here), as they were just in the back talking and leaning 👀 … but like I said, maybe my expectations of customer service are just too high… And for the record bad customer service can take a 5 star rating of delicious food down to one star, especially if the bowls have already started “melting” by the time they get to...
Read moreVery upset that I Ubered it. I knew I should’ve went in person but didn’t due to the weather. I asked for the medium size and my order was barely full. It usually takes me a while to finish the bowls…it took me like 7 minutes to finish this bowl because it was so small. They gave me the smallest scoops of what I asked for. I asked for coconut shreds and two different granola…received none of those. Asked for banana slices and strawberries, seemed like they gave me the left over little bit that they had and just threw it on top. All I got was a tiny bit of crushed almonds. I didn’t even get the cinnamon that I asked for, nor did I get any of the 3 drizzles I requested. I can’t even get a refund on Uber because though my order wasn’t properly done, I ate it quickly because I was so hungry. so I had no photo evidence to submit. I’m extremely sad because I’ve never had this problem with them on Uber. Who are these employeessssss. I’m not even full from that😭😭😭😭 I’ve worked in a place like that before so I know it says something that shows that I order often. why did you guys do a regular like that🥲 I still love you guys though. so I...
