I have mixed reviews about my experience at Priority. I was on the market for a new Jeep, and had been given a quote elsewhere but wanted to make sure I loved the model of the Jeep before committing, so on a Sunday I found that Priority was the only local shop that was open. When we got there, Harry met us outside. He was incredibly kind, not pushy and was able to get us in the vehicle for a test drive within minutes. Within 15 minutes of us being back, Harry made an incredible offer if we were to commit same day. I said yes - LOVING the urgency. I was a little uncomfortable with the refusal to provide an itemized deal sheet until AFTER I paid, but still followed through. I offered to get back to the dealership before close the same day, but Harry insisted I wait until Monday to come in and sign the paperwork which I was happy to do. That Monday evening, Harry actually said he can meet me at my Town Hall at 12pm the next day to take my trade in and register my new vehicle. I was able to adjust my entire workday to make this happen, but on Tuesday morning, I don't hear from Harry. I text him around 10 asking if we were still on for noon and he says hes the only sales rep on the floor so unless someone else comes in he isn't sure itll happen. He then says the deal isnt finalized, and if I had come in to sign the paperwork on Sunday it probably would've been finalized by now. He was the one that insisted I DON'T come same day, and he was the one that said we could meet at 12pm on Tuesday. He said he would keep me posted to see if he would be able to meet in the afternoon, and I asked him to please do so as I would need to find coverage at work. I didn't hear back until I reached back out towards EOD. I completely understand the reasoning, and know that things can pop up but the lack of communication and urgency after I had already given them my business was incredibly disappointing. Since Tuesday morning, he has done nothing but give me excuses and kick the can down the road. He also surprised me Tuesday evening by saying that the cosigner of my trade in would NEED to be there to sign a document when the trade in occurs - with no option to docusign or email the document, have it signed and brought by me. He let me know of this hours after I should have already had my vehicle. It would have bee nice to have been met with confidence, something like "hey I totally get that - here's a potential solution" rather than days of me presenting ideas and him saying "ill let you know if that will work" that lead to me never hearing back, or hearing back past when he said he would get back to me. I left 3 voicemails into the Sales Manager with no response. I finally was able to speak with Colin the Finance Manager who confirmed Harry would meet me at 10am on Friday. I appreciated his results driven approach. Harry was 30min late to meeting me, but it was better than nothing. This dealership offers great deals, but needs to seriously work on their communication...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI dropped off my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with problems with the U Connect console (could not control anything on the main console and Start Stop light was on)The car was not looked at for diagnosis until the end of the second day of being on the lot. I called late that afternoon and was told that something seemed loose ⦠that the problem seemed corrected. To the customer service managerās credit he asked if he could keep the car overnight to be test driven and just to make sure things were good. I called the next day and was given the news that lights were on again and further diagnostic testing determined that a Star Connector was needed for communication command. I was told a replacement part would be delivered overnight express and taken care of the next day. I waited most of the next day for a call that things were taken care of. Once again, I called to ask about the car. I received another call back that the wrong part was delivered ⦠that the correct replacement part was re-ordered ⦠again to be delivered the next day overnight express. I received this news on Friday afternoon and was told the car should be all set Saturday. I was called late Saturday morning and went to pick up the car. We did not see or speak to anyone from the service department and were directed to the cashier. We then had to look for our car. We looked around and found it parked at a strange angle .. askew so that I would not notice the passenger side of the car. . I got on the highway heading home and noticed in the passenger mirror that something was flapping in the wind. When I got off the exit and stopped the car I found that the door trim (window panels) are bent and coming detached from the car. I called the service department manager (Mike Flynn) to let him know of the mishap that I discovered. I had to be somewhere and could not take more time to return to Priority Jeep. He seemed more annoyed than sympathetic and I will have to return to have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIād give zero stars if possible. We brought our Durango in when we were rear ended this summer. Had a trip planned and were told our car would be ready days before the trip. We werenāt given updates. We called prior to our trip to see how it was going and they said thereās no way itāll be done in time. We were given another date. This meant we had to take a loaner vehicle which was much smaller. Extremely inconvenient. We get back, and our car still wasnāt fixed! We were given a different date FOUR times. Because of the inconvenience, they said theyād detail the Durango for free. That never happened.
My husbandās Dodge chargerās engine just went. He brought it to Brothers in Amesbury who did a diagnostic test. Very affordable. We were told to bring it to a dealership since theyāre not suited to fix the issue. So back to Priority (even though I told my husband not to waste his money there). They run another diagnostic (even though we had the run down from brothers), and never mentioned an estimated price to check the engine. Well, we go to pickup his car and they claimed it costs $180/hour and that they āworked on itā for FOUR hours. $720 down the drain for them to purely DIAGNOSE the issue. He needs a new engine thatās worth more than his car. They never fixed anything. Our family member had the same thing done to his vehicle for $200. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. AVOID this place at all costs.
To add: The vehicle was up to date with maintenance and everything was done by a reputable company.
When it needed service, it was actually done by Priority. So saying to take it somewhere reputable hurts the case.
Also, NO WORK was done on his car at Priority at THIS time. The same issues were found in a family memberās vehicle and the REPUTABLE dealership charged much less.
Unfortunately, you also overlooked the first part of the review where the repair by date was pushed back many times and a detail was promised,...
