Waterworks Visual Art Center — Attraction in Salisbury

Heather is a wonderful and knowledgeable docent. She shared a number of interesting facts that we wouldn’t have learned had she not been guiding us. She made the whole experience more enjoyable. We came in as a group and loved learning about the exhibits they offered. All were enjoyable in very different ways. Frankly, this is probably the best art gallery around the Charlotte area. The gift shop offered some beautiful pieces from various artists, many from the area. Very affordable. You can even buy beautiful postcards featuring artists’ works for just a couple of bucks. Not happy Stopped by a couple months ago and they were unexpectedly closed. So I called the day ahead this time to make sure they were open. Because I live over 3 hours away. Got there today and was told that I could not take any pictures. 👎Viral exhibit was small and underwhelming. Tried to buy a token for the art o matic and the woman working the desk just ignored me and started working on her computer. So I left. Won't be back. This was an awesome art museum with beautiful pieces of art I really enjoyed the exhibits and to my surprise it was free of charge I was expecting to pay like 5 or 8 dollars a piece for tickets but the nice lady informed me that it was free to the public they just want people to come enjoy the pieces of art that all those artists worked so...
