After an evening out in downtown area we showed up a this location with a few local friends. My husband ordered a drink with friends, then attempted to get money out of the ATM and it did not work. Another guest said “try the counter I don’t think this ATM works”. So we did… what an experience that was! The lady came back asking if we had a membership and wondered where my husband got a drink. We told her we came in with a group… ordered and wanted to play. Feeling offended because I had no idea what she was talking about because I came in with a group and stood behind them. I walked out trying to get a Uber and a very offensive loud and kinda scary (because he raised his voice several times at me) approach talking about this membership and wanted to know how my husband had a drink that he ordered from the bar. This man held onto my phone after taking it out of my hand as I was just trying to get out of there by trying to get a Uber and I walked away from the establishment. Basically if there are fees associated and legality at play have that taken care of at the door upon entry not harassing out of town visitors. Read moreThe first visit did not disappoint! Parked in the lot behind the building, there are no huge signs pointing to the entrance, which adds to the speakeasy vibe! A friend and I were on a girl's night out,we were greeted at the door and seated right away. We chose the day membership, or " one time" visit, which is $5.00 pp. Cocktail ,wine, and spirits menu is extensive. You are given ample time to look through the menu while enjoying the complementary popcorn and ice water they bring to you when seated. My friend ordered the Buzzy Mule , I ordered the Maple Smoked Old Fashioned, both were excellent cocktails We chose to share plates as an option. We ordered the Vegetable Samosas, Escargot, and Baked Feta. The favorite was the baked feta topped with hot honey, pine nuts ,and thyme served with crostini. Escargot was not overcooked( as it should be) and served with crusty bread ,excellent presentation. Samosas were different than I've had but very good, not too spicy. The servers checked on us frequently, decor is outstanding, and you weren't rushed out when finished. A very relaxing vibe , unhurried, which is appreciated in today's world, and what we need more of! Dessert choices sound amazing, but that will have to be on...
