Update on 7/7/25: I closed the PO Box. They made even that a nightmare. First, I was told that the lease ended in June. Then I was told July. Then back to June. I never did get a straight answer. Did they ever put the 30 day notice in my box? Of course not. I happily turned in my keys, filled out a change of address, and arranged for my mail to be on hold until the change of address went through. Five days later and after being told that I had no mail, it turns out that the PO box wasn't closed and they were still putting my mail in the box, despite that I turned in the keys and have no access. Glad I kept the receipt. After they finally gave me my mail that they kept telling me they didn't have, I asked how long until my change of address goes through (because I am "over" dealing with them). Turns out the employee never turned in my forms. Nice. There was no change of address on file for me. I fill out the forms again. Now, I have to babysit them to make sure that I receive all my mail, the change of address goes through, and that they aren't shoving my mail in a closed PO box and telling me that I have no mail.
I had a horrid experience with this branch in the one year I had my PO Box. Either the employees are clueless or they simply don't care. I suspect that I was purposely told wrong information and they "accidentally" lost my forms for payback due to the bad review I left them.
Save yourself the grief and go to another branch. The employees here are rude, dishonest, and have absolutely no clue what they are doing. Opening a PO box was not worth it for me.

Awful, awful customer service. This is my local post office, and where I have my PO Box located. This location is run by 3 or so women, and all of them have the same demeaning attitude. I avoid the staff unless the situation requires that I need to speak with them, like this morning. I had a package marked as "delivered" to my PO Box, and it wasn't there. I approached the front desk to inquire about it. I was very nice, yet the employee working was incredibly rude. Immediately, she told me "tough luck" and that there was nothing she could do. She made no attempt to help in anyway. She stood there with a condescending attitude and treated me like I didn't matter. I ended up (sarcastically) thanking her for her "wonderful customer service" and left. This happened around 10:15-10:30 am on 12/31/24. When my lease is up for my PO Box, I may relocate to another branch of the post office. The customer service here needs...
Read moreSome employees here seem okay. One employee actually came up and talked with me when I went outside the office after the incident I had. But before that, because of one absolutely rude supervisor/employee, I had to write this review about her so that others know of one of the employees here that others constantly review without disclosing her name. Perhaps she is a big reason for the discourtesy being displayed at this location that others have constantly reviewed about here.
Leina, this review is for you. I was trying to explain that I shipped a package to this postal office for me to pick up, but you cut me off and spoke over me without letting me speak. You did not give me clear instructions as to where my package ended up. While I asked for further clarification, I was calm and nice when trying to speak to you, but you had a nasty demeanor with the presumption that I was incompetent. Of course, anybody can look like that if they do not talk, which you never gave me the chance to do! My package is now lost; you have the answer where it is and you do not care to work it out with me. Luckily, because one of your employees came up to me to discuss the situation like respectable adults, I give another star. The other one star is left for you because you do not deserve any more than that.
For the sake of the reputation of the company and quite frankly your career, you better start treating others fairly and nicely before someone higher up gives you the same treatment with a termination of...
Read moreThe day my daughter Maddiâs ashes were out for delivery, I stayed home all day because I had to sign for them. Around 5 p.m. I got a text saying they couldnât be delivered because no one was here to signâbut the carrier never even came to my door. I was devastated.
I called USPS to ask what to do, and about 10 minutes later the manager of our local post office personally called me and explained why they didn't come to my door and then She told me that they were already closed for the day but sheâd be in the office a little longer if I wanted to come pick them up. But since I didnât have my car, I couldnât get there. She then told me she had also lost a child years ago and understood why this mattered so much. She said, âYou know what, I donât want her to stay here overnightâIâll bring her to you on my way home.â
And she did.
It was such a kind and human thing to do, and I thought it deserved to be shared here. Sometimes people really go above and beyond, and it means the world. â¤ď¸
PS i'm not sure if the employees or managers of the Usps post office reply to these comments I would love to tell her thank you again and let her know how special of a human being she is! and tell her again just how much it...
