Stadium Lanes Bowling Center — Attraction in San Angelo

So I haven’t been in this bowling alley in a few years because of how rundown it is, but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt tonight. I went with some friends and this was such an unpleasant experience. First of all, the place is very outdated and it was dirty. The couches were dirty. The tables were dirty. The floors were slick and that’s most likely because of being dirty. If you want anything to drink other than beer, make sure to bring cash for the vending machine. I was super thirsty so I got a beer because I didn’t have cash and luckily the beer was cheap. That’s the only good thing about this place. We were put in a lane and we got through the first round, but on round two our balls didn’t come back to us. So we tell the girls in the front and they tell my friend to go push some button. Well the button didn’t work so he went back to tell them and instead of getting up and going to fix the issue, they kept telling him to go try something new. It wasn’t working so they moved us to the lane right next to that one and first time we throw the ball, our ball doesn’t come back to us again on this new lane. And instead of one of the girls in the front coming to get the balls unstuck, they just sat on the counter tops in the front doing nothing. The only reason I gave one star is because I had to in order to leave this review. We were treated very rudely at the counter picked out shoes for all 8 members of our family before being told there was no room for us ON BUMPERS due to the adults playing on them The only spot open was sharing a lane with drunks. While we have 4 very small children. We told them was there somewhere else we could be placed because there were glass beer bottles everywhere due to the lane buddies we were being placed with . There were other Lane's available. Although the employees told us there were none. No idea why this establishment is called a family friendly they very obviously thought the two adults on the bumper lane drunk was priority over the very disappointed children that had to leave with no attempted help from staff .ohhhhh did I mention we drove an hour to get to San Angelo just to bowl as a fun family outing. We chose not to subject our very young children to this disrespectful environment. It WAS A very long ride home with very disappointed children .To bad it is so hard to find a respectful establishment for a sunday night out with the family.

VERY DISAPPOINTED NEVER...

This bowling alley is absolutely terrible! We will never go back there. My bowling ball came back with numerous scratches and a big chunk cut out of it. It is an expensive ball and all they would say is that it happens quite a bit to people who bowl in leagues there. The sign said $12.98 to bowl from 9 to midnight on Friday and Saturday yet the charged us $7.50 per game per person. Instead of it being $36 for our bowling, they charged us $78 for 3 of us to bowl 3 games each. Total rip off! The girls that were working there played on there phones more than they worked. They were also very rude. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!! It used to be a good place but it totally sucks now! I paid a lot of money for my bowling ball and for it to get all scratched up and a big chunk taken out of it and all they can say is it happens quite a bit there is bullcrap. I've never had that happen at any other bowling alley. TERRIBLE...
