As a longtime Indiana Jones and Star Wars fan, I wanted to use this Bay Area trip to finally visit imagination park. Dedicated in 2013, the park was created by George Lucas and located by city hall in San Anselmo. Two statues are seen, created by the legnendary Lawrence Noble. A 6ft Indiana jones figure and an exact facsimile of the yoda statue seen outside Lucas arts. Great to see Star Wars history and shoutout San Answlmo! lemme nerd out #starwars #indianajones #georgelucas #yoda #nerd

THANK YOU GEORGE LUCAS!! You are San Anselmo’s favorite neighbor! Lucas bought the former building on this site & built a beautiful park where both Yoda and Indiana Jones reside. I brought my 3 year old niece to the park opening. When I told her we were going to visit Yoda, her reply was “What’s a Yoda?” A few months later, she was Princess Leia for Halloween and a huge Star Wars fan. Tiny jewel of a park for Indiana Jones/Star Wars/George Lucas fans. It's neat to think that somewhere around here the ideas for these stories and characters germinated to eventually become the icons that they are. Peaceful inspirational setting. It's not what you'd expect it's a little tiny lawn area with the fountain behind the police department, library and city council chambers. They use the city council chambers as story time for the library. Small-town! The best feature of imagination Park is they have a statue of Indiana Jones and a statue of Yoda standing...
