Booked a party there for a family get-together and birthday during the holidays. Walked in and they had the back area reserved for us with a cute Happy Birthday banner. Our dedicated hostess, Lauren, did an amazing job of getting us situated, explaining how everything worked, offering assistance, giving advice, and constantly checking on us. We had a large party of 10, but she managed to help everyone. She was assisted by Karina who was equally has helpful and came over several times to check in on us. They made a great team. The party area was nice as it's in a semi-private area and they give you room to set-up any food and drinks you bring.
As far as the pottery experience, it was surprisingly a lot of fun and relaxing at the same time. You start off by picking whatever pottery you liked at the front, then bringing it to your table to paint. Like any skill, you get better as you go and learn different techniques. Everyone became very focused on their pottery, but we were able to have nice conversation at the same time. We became so focused, that our 2 hour reservation flew by. However, Lauren told us since we were the last party of the evening, we could stay in that area and not have to move to the other tables. Great customer service that was much appreciated, so I made sure to tip them accordingly. We came back about 5 days later to pick up our ~15 pieces and the baking process really made the colors pop. Everyone was pleased with how everything came out.
This was a great way to spend quality time and enjoy creating your own pottery by hand. Great pottery experience and great customer service. Will definitely come back for some more...
Read moreWe went here for my nephews birthday. The pieces are over priced but it’s fun painting right.... so there were about 10 of us including a baby. No one ever came to our table after they sat us... I did notice a table full of older white ladies had an employee always at their table, we had to look around when we needed something for our table with no help. Ok no big deal we’re having fun painting. So I head over too pay, at this point I’m told they have added 18% gratuity because we were large party. I told her “ no one ever came to our table to help us but u want to charge us, my sister has blonde hair also like those ladies who had someone help them.” All she said was sorry they must have been busy and that we should have asked for help. So I guess they figured they would get their 18% anyway so why put in effort with us. Also it was at this point when they told us we had to leave our pieces to get “cooked.” I live nowhere in this area and they will ship for $20 a piece. In conclusion, I wouldn’t come here unless your white and live in...
Read moreA friend and I tried this for the first time this week. When you arrive, you can look around for premade pieces to paint. They had a ton of pieces in a variety of sizes. I saw decorative trays, dishes, storage containers and just plain cute stuff like tiny gnomes. Once you've selected your piece(s), you get the rundown for how to do the painting. They have a ton of brushes, sponges, and other tools to use for painting, and a bunch of colors of paint. They provide everything you need. You have as long as you need (until closing of course!) to paint your pieces. When you're finished, they collect payment and let you know the turnaround time for your piece to be glazed and fired. They have a 5-day guarantee for pickup. The staff are so friendly and supportive and were really happy to have us. I don't typically like painting as an art form but I had such a great time. I'd highly recommend this as an activity for...
