Hidden Oaks Apartments — Attraction in San Antonio

Unfortunately, I had a pretty bad experience with staff apon inquiring on a tour. The woman running the office at the time was stand off-ish. I'm looking around the area a couple of months in advance, trying to get some tours in person and pricing to determine where I'd like to move. She straight up told me it's gonna be 1000 dollars for their smallest, 600sqft, classic style, unrenovated unit and said they have no rooms to show, directly contradicting what I seen online. It was showing multiple 1 beds available of different square footage, stating the prices as 700 for the classic and ranging from 700 to 900. Yet when I get there, it's now 1000 for the cheapest unrenovated version of the unit? Keeping in mind all the apartments around the same area at 600st are 700-850$ range, and those all offer more amenities like a washer, dryer hookups, and carports. She then keeps retracting her statement saying the price "fluctuates", like yes, I'm aware that's how apartment pricing works but to down right say 1000 in the beginning when I'm looking 3 months in advance makes no sense because they normally aren't certain of pricing that far in advance. 1000 is definitely an unreasonable price for what they're offering, so to tell me that was wild. She just made me uncomfortable, had a harsh tone, and seemed uninterested in talking to...

I called this place and set up an appointment to see an apartment at 10am, I spoke with Hope on the phone before leaving and told her I had work at 11am. I arrived at 10:05 and Hope said she had a walk in at 9:55am that she couldn’t turn away. I told her I would wait 10 minutes and then I was leaving. I waited 30 minutes, I could hear everything Hope was saying in the next room over and she was taking her sweet time and it felt like she was intentionally taking her time with the intent to have me wait longer. Don’t waste your time with this apartment. I overheard Hope tell new tenants that there is no security at this apartment and they have a serious problem with people breaking into cars. When I called her out on Zillow, Hope blocked me from seeing the listing anymore. I hope your manager reads this and all the other terrible reviews about Hope specifically. I had an amazing experience visiting this property! The manager, Hope, welcomed me with a warm smile and provided an incredibly informative tour. It's clear that she genuinely cares about the community and its residents. Joe, the maintenance guy, is a true gem! I witnessed his dedication as he hustled around to ensure the property was in top shape and promptly addressed maintenance requests.

The property itself is impressive – well-maintained and spotless. The recent improvements like tree trimming, grill area enhancements, the updated pool, and the new fitness center are fantastic amenities. The addition of stainless-steel appliances is a lovely touch. This community offers tranquility and a friendly atmosphere that I truly appreciate. Kudos to the team for creating such a wonderful living space!
