Incredibly disappointed with the manner in which the manager conducted himself.

Let me take you back to last night.

I had placed an order for two Italian subs and one meatball sub. The man asked me for my name so I told him Lilly, and he responded with “what?” So I decided to give hin another name that was easier (Nathan) no confusion there I thought. Well I was wrong.

My brothet leaves after ten minutes to go pick up the food. I soon got a call from someone at bunnies. He asked looking for a woman named Denise, in which I told him that he had the wrong number and he proceeded to ask me did you order anything from Lennies. So I said yes I did but it’s not under Denise it’s the name Nathan or Lilly and then he proceeded to ask me if someone was coming to pick up our order. I told him “someone is on their way for our food” and he said “its a substantial order so someone has to come get it.” And I was frustrated at this point because I kept saying I was going to get it and he kept ignoring me and saying I needed to come get it and can’t “cancel.” And i said I never canceled...

So then i was line “what order are you talking about because I am not Denise.” And finally he got it through his thick head to ask me instead of assuming Im a liar thats trying to get out of paying. Turns out Denise ordered philly cheesesteaks...

And I had to practically yell “I AM NOT DENISE!!” Ten times before he finally was like “Oh, I might be wrong then.”

And so I hung up on hin. Turns out my brother was watching his roll his eyes the whole time he was on the phone with me...acting impatient without listening..wasting my time and my thinning my patience.

I shoukd have cancelled because the subs weren’t even cut and had waaaayy to much vinegar and mayo!! I havr NEVER hated my lennys sub before last night....I will NOT be returning to the alon market location again until they get new staff. That was the final straw...after all their mistakes they have made this was truly the icing on the cake. Smh. Take your business to the location on 1604. 10000xxx better!

These guys are...

I'd like to share an experience I just had at this location. I'm trying to do it quickly as I just got home and I am starving! I had a long day and I am exhausted and starving and ran out to run an errand and grab some food for my first and only meal of the day. I forgot to bring my phone, but noticed on the clock and my car that it was getting close to 9:00. Since I didn't have my phone, I wasn't able to look and see what time this location closed. When I arrived, I know it was just a few minutes until 9:00, and when I got to the door I did see that the closing time was listed at 9:00. When I walked in there were two young guys working inside. When I asked if I was too late, the young man who was working the dining room was leaning towards telling me that I was too late, that they closed at 9:00. I knew it wasn't quite 9:00 yet, and the young man behind the counter told me that no, it was not too late and that he could definitely help me. I ordered quickly to go, and explained to him that I own a similar business downtown. I apologized to him for coming in at the last minute, and he assured me it was no problem. I asked him his name, and he told me it was Andres. I was in and out of there by 9:01. He assured me more than one time that it wasn't a big deal, and that some other customers had just finished eating and left just before I had walked in. This is the type of service I ask my employees to provide. Decades ago, this type of service did not stand out as much as it does now. I am well aware of how difficult it is to staff a business, let alone staff a business with good employees. Please recognize Andres for his wonderful customer service skills. It's harder and harder these days to find employees that great! The food here is always fantastic, as well! Thank you, Andres! You are very much...

Depends who you ask, 1st time here, when I asked the Mgr if he could heat up bread, gave me excuse that it was a cold sandwich, Sub ok but not the Best, came here again with a Friend, he wasn't too Happy with portion size. Again Mgr. said that's the way they portion it no options. 3rd time came here, same Mgr seemed annoyed by my questions, on top of that on this visit just found out about rewards program, which was not even offered as a new customer. Gonna stop frequenting this Shop, seems like once they reel you in, they don't care to hear from you or your comments. Mgr. distancing himself from my being there. Friendly at 1st, then Meh afterwards. Seems like they take you for granted once you're there. I'm Retired n eat out alot. Subway at least, lets you have it your way! Yet they claim they're better, customer should be the judge of that. Even questioned time spent there, it's not like I was loitering, I'm spending money here. A new customer n possibly, limit my visits here. Another customer came in n returned his order, just stared without apology, tells you alot bout their Customer Service. Dumped Food in the trash. US Army Vet

P.S. When you're new to a business, you should be able to ask any amount of questions, we are not...

I am from the East Coast and grew up eating Philly cheesesteaks. In my opinion they have the best cheesesteaks in town. They use superior ingredients, and the bread is perfect. Also, it is spotless clean, and I have been in and through the kitchen and storage area and the owner Chris takes food safety and cleanliness to the next level. Chris is a former Marine And his operation is always squared away, shipshape, and delivers flawless sandwiches. He takes pride in his shop and food and it shows. A great plave to eat, hang, and two booths have power outlets for my gear. I eat there regularly. Love it.

So something fundamental about an Italian Sub is that it comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, at least that's standard at all subshops. Well what they don't tell you on grub hub, it don't come with any of that by default. So it might have been a good Italian Sub but I won't know, it was dry, even as good as the skimpy meat and cheese offerings were, and to complicate matters there was not even enough oil and vinegar. I was instantly filled with dread when my 15 inch sub arrived and mostly paper packaging weight. This was not even a conscious attempt to try. Jasons Deli it is!

I really used to enjoy Lenny's but the past several orders have gotten worse and worse at this location over the past several months. From completely incorrect orders to under baked bread to scarce toppings. Today was the third consecutive strike. Does this look like a mile high turkey sandwich? Ordered Lenny's Way and no clue where the tomato or oil/vinegar are. I'd expect this from Subway but not Lenny's. You may have better luck dining in but pickup and togo orders are sealed so you don't find these issues until long after you get home.
