Our visit came after we were given erroneous information at the central library about a Halloween event which was held a day earlier. Our initial experience here was good and probably would've been given a 5 had we not arrived so late. We were a little hesitant due to the vagrants loitering in the parking lot and the cemetery across the street. We saw the staff helping people use the printer and find different things. They were friendlier than the lady with red hair/"manager" at the Collins Garden branch. We'll be back to follow up and see if they're customer service holds up to this review.

Small library with a lot of books. The atmosphere is just as any library should be, clean and quiet. There was a little bit of everything for everyone. A good amount of computers for surfing the web.

I went today to this library on a Sunday to go and do my early vote, and good thing I did, there was no line or voters just the volunteers working, I was in and out in no time.

The comment about Rhonda is false and malicious. Rhonda truly worked for the public; she helped many people get jobs, introduced countless patrons to the internet, and did programs that improved lives, such as getting access to healthcare through the Affordable Care Act. She also helped customers obtain citizenship by distributing hundreds of exam flashcards issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services to libraries and other nonprofit groups. Rhonda created programs that covered social justice issues, such as screening the film Stolen Education (2013) and the Southwest of Salem (2016); moreover, she hosted the people who were featured in those films, such as Anna Vasquez, one of the San Antonio Four. She also uplifted numerous local artists and art students at UTSA by showcasing their artwork in the libraries. Every year she held an Open Mic poetry event, for people from 18 years up. After the event, people expressed how happy they were to recite their work to the public. I could go on with more examples; her work and dedication alone are proof of her good character. Please do not believe...

The printing machine procedure for all libraries is ridiculous. you cant just put the coin or dollar in and just print it after you scan or type in your library card info. anymore. I occasionally would come to this library and Its great on some occasions but I don't like it when its busy. you feel like you have the place to yourself when its not too busy and most of the time nobody will bother you because of that alone. a lady that used to work here died while on the job a few years ago too and that didn't work out...
