Medlars Jewel Masters — Attraction in San Antonio

Stopped in because heard wonderful things about custom work. Preface this with I'm 5 feet tall and weigh 104lb. A man, dressed in a suit followed me around entire store. I stopped to ask if I had done something wrong. His reply was "you said you were only interested in looking , not buying and you make me nervous". NERVOUS?? This man was AT LEAST a foot taller than me and outweighed me by a minimum of 50lb but my small, well dressed stature, in name brand clothes, shoes, and purse scared him. There were other customers in the store and my embarassment was palpable. I was doing nothing but enjoying myself by choosing a diamond bracelet for my grandmother. I had just come into quite a sum of money and wanted to get something for my grandmother that she could have never gotten for herself. She worked hard her entire life, raised me, always told me I was special and could do whatever I set my mind to and she deserved the biggest gift I could find for her (along with a big hug as she cried uncontrollably). This store and proprietor lost a massive sale as I spent approx $10,000 eleswhere. As she is such a wonderful Woman who deserves everything life has to offer, I gave her some much needed cash as well, that could've been spent at that awful mans store! I still don't know what I did that made him so "nervous" (especially as all of his cabinets were locked!). I've never committed or been accused of a crime in my life and this horrible man made a huge mistake by judging a book by its cover!! It's my sincere hope that others read this post and think twice before spending a single dime in this store! In my opinion, Anyone who happens upon large sums of money , as I did, should spend it on the homeless before they increase the income of MEDLARS JEWELRY STORE. Unless you enjoy being humiliated , degraded, embarrassed and looked down upon....DO NOT SHOP HERE....EVER!!! In fact, should the opportunity arise, flip the switch on him, wait until other customers are in the store and degrade his "custom pieces" and let him know he "makes you nervous" by stalking you around the store!! I DONT THINK I CAN MAKE IT ANYMORE...

My husband is a professional basketball player, and when he dislocated his finger, it set in such a way that it will never be able to bend or have a normal knuckle size again. Obviously we were upset about this, but a side effect was that he could no longer wear his wedding band since it was his ring finger. We went a few months with him wearing his ring on the opposite hand, but there is something sentimental about wearing your wedding band in the traditional way.

We stopped by on a whim to check it out, and not only did Medlars deliver, but they were able to modify his original ring! They created a sort of latch system that allows him to widen the ring to slip it on, then clasp it shut so it sits normally on his finger. We call it his bionic ring now, and he LOVES showing it off!

Medlars was beyond kind to us, and understood the situation perfectly. They even added a few diamonds to the side of my husband's band, something he'd been wanting to do for awhile. The price was reasonable, the turn around time was great, the service was AMAZING, and I can't express how wonderful it is to see my husband wearing his beloved wedding band again. THANK...
