**Stonewerks at Lincoln Heights: A Culinary and Service Gem** Upon arriving at Stonewerks at Lincoln Heights, I was initially met with a less-than-welcoming hostess who seemed preoccupied with her phone. However, this minor inconvenience was quickly overshadowed by the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Timothy. Timothy was the epitome of a dedicated and knowledgeable server. He greeted us warmly, offered excellent meal suggestions, and entertained us with humorous stories throughout our dining experience. His unwavering engagement, friendliness, and expertise made our evening truly memorable. Starting with the oysters on the half shell, we were treated to a taste of the ocean. The oysters were impeccably fresh, briny, and bursting with a salty essence that left us longing for more. The wedge salad, generously portioned, was equally impressive, featuring crisp lettuce topped with a tangy dressing. For our main course, we opted for the house cut sirloin. Cooked perfectly to a medium-rare doneness, the steak was tender, well-seasoned, and melted in our mouths. The accompanying roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes were also expertly prepared, complementing the steak beautifully. While the food at Stonewerks was undoubtedly exceptional, it was Timothy's outstanding service that elevated our experience to an unforgettable one. Despite the initial hiccup with the hostess, we left Stonewerks feeling thoroughly satisfied and eager to return for another delightful culinary adventure. Highly recommended!

It's unfortunate that I feel a low rating is necessary purely due to bad service. My partner and I came to this location based on positive reviews by word of mouth from a close friend of ours. We came and there was a small 10 minute wait on a busy Friday evening after opting out of seats at the bar top. We were happy with the booth the server seated us at and were excited to have an intimate dinner and a few beers. The oysters Rockefeller and calamari came out fresh and hot in a timely manner. However I knew immediately we wouldn't be receiving good service from Cole. He came took our drink order and put in our appetizers and acted like they were out of the Limes we wanted for our drinks. He was short and rude and didn't bother checking on us after we got our appetizers. Other servers and expo workers brought our food and took our finished plates out of the way. Cole was far too busy on his phone and hiding away in the restroom to deliver good service to us. Entitlement at its finest. I tipped the nice server that took our plates and cashed out our bill, and my wife being WAY too nice tipped Cole 5$. Please get into a different line of work Cole. We won't be back to stone werks because of you.

Ive only eaten 2 things here and they were good but the ambiance, the service and the specialty drinks will have you back again and again UPDATE Finally made it back in. So happy I did. From the front desk smiles and service to the excellent table service from Daniel. And then the food. Tried new things. Individual size pizzas. Yum. Three cheese. I added pepperoni, my friend added pepperoni and mushrooms. My friend had the wedge salad. Be hungry, its on the big side. I had the side Caesar salad. Perfect add for the pizza. We started with fried mushrooms. Another yum. They're smaller than most, but there are plenty and they are delish. And the smaller size didnt melt the inside of my mouth lol. With no room left- we had to try the sweets. Ok, we didn't HAVE to, but frankly they sounded incredible. They were. The atmosphere was so relaxing (crying baby aside). Major meeting room for any occasion. That 1970's classic music was the icing on the visit.

We’ve been going to this location for quite a while and have always enjoyed the food and drinks. Last night from our first encounter with the host to the server, it was not a good experience. The host asked us to wait while she wiped down a table. It was right at the entrance in a dark spot. The seat was still wet from the wipe down so I asked her to dry it off. She seemed bothered to do it. When I thanked her, she just walked away. They were out of a couple of draft beers on the menu. We ordered sautéed shrimp and pasta. The shrimp was just fried shrimp laid on top of the pasta. The pasta which should’ve been spaghetti was as if it was already cut up. Maybe to make it go further? My side/house salad was a plateful of colorless iceberg lettuce chopped up with a few tiny bits of cucumber and tomato. We were going to question the fried vs sautéed shrimp but after we were served, we couldn’t find our server. We asked someone nearby to get him for us but still he never came. When he finally did come around, he went to two other tables nearby but would walk the other way to leave so we couldn’t get his attention. By that time the shrimp and pasta had been sitting there so my husband finally ate it. Halfway through the meal the server finally came by and we expressed our disappointment with the dish and he said yeah, that’s how it’s made. If the shrimp is going to be breaded and fried, it should say that on the menu! If we wanted fried shrimp we would’ve ordered fried shrimp. When the server brought our bill, he just dropped it off and ran. I guess he was afraid we would demand an adjustment to our bill. The fact that anyone we encountered last night was very unconcerned with our dining experience makes it doubly disappointing. We pay way too much for dining out these days and if this is what we’re going to get then I’m done with Stonewerks. There are too many other places to go for quality food and atmosphere so that’s...

Not an experience I'd care to repeat. Placed a single salad order at exactly 11:30 am. Was quoted 10-15 mins prep time. Arrived at location 15 mins later and order was still not ready but hostess said it was just a couple more minutes. Fine. I waited quietly, out of the way of other patrons for my order to be ready. At 11:55, no one had brought the order out and no one was even acknowledging my presence. The hostess who cashed me out had been MIA for several minutes at this point. I had to interrupt a conversation between 2 employees, who pretended I wasn't there, at the hostess station right in front of me to inquire about my order as it had now been nearly double the time quoted when I called my order in. Apparently, this was totally insulting to the hostess as she walked toward me, bag in hand, annoyed look on her face. She said NOTHING to me, just pushed the bag at me and walked away. I looked in the bag to verify my order and there were only two dressings inside the salad container. Not only did I order extra dressing when I called, I verified the extra dressing request when I paid for the salad. I asked for the extra dressing that now I've had to ask for THREE TIMES and she nastily replied that there were two included, any more than two was an extra charge. She never asked me how many I wanted. She never informed of an extra charge at any of the previous opportunities she had to tell me this. I didn't spring an extra dressing request on her last minute. I wanted ONE EXTRA CUP OF DRESSING, not six, but she couldn't be bothered. For a $17 dollar salad and a 30 minute wait on a slow Monday, if one extra dressing is too much to ask for, I'll never step foot back in the...

Terrible service AT THE BAR! You would think since we are literally sitting right in front of the 3 standing behind there that ONE of them would have greeted us or asked us what we would like to drink. Not at all!! We were completely ignored. Finally we had to ask for a drink. Mason took our order and didn’t even say hello or will you also be dining with us? He brought us our drinks and still they are running back and forth making drinks, at times even just standing around talking and not once did he ask if we’d like a refill. We finally asked for another and then had to tell him we’d like to order. He was just plain rude. He obviously could care less about serving us or receiving a tip. He never made any sort of conversation or came to check up on us as we were eating our dinner. Again, we’re literally right there in front of him as he’s working the bar and no acknowledgement. Since he never checked up on us nor did any of the other two, I again had to get his attention and ask for extra gravy that took him several minutes to order from the kitchen because we watched him. So I’m sitting there letting my food get cold because I needed the gravy to enjoy my meal. We were sitting at the end so close to the kitchen, we almost got up to ask ourselves. Finally my husband had to get his attention and ask for it AGAIN. He never asked us if we wanted another drink or needed anything else. Mason is the worst and needs to be retrained on how to treat customers that are literally right in front of you as your walking...
