Drinks 5/5 Although I came with no intention of getting buzzed, 4 out of the party of 6 got a variety of cocktails and bourbon with ice, who all enjoyed their drinks and had no complaints

Food 3/5 Edamame: oddly tasted like it came from the plastic bags you find at the grocery store and steam them in the microwave, was salted like it was an afterthought, and came with sauce I gave a couple of chances on but couldn't recommend

Pulled Pork Bao: if you come with no expectations this is the one for you, I oddly don't mean that not even in a negative way. These are not traditional Bao as in "Baozi" these are bao "Buns" which is not specified on the menu for some reason, they came not steamed but are warmed up alternately by toasting them which is something I've never seen before, at this point it's very obvious it's not a traditional food spot, more like a twist. The disappointing part, was the main part... The pork, which was not pulled, I mean it could have been but what I got was something that resembled and even tasted closer to "sloppy joe" For what it is, not horrible, but you could down it if you were hungry. I chose to leave it to be picked up after I ate the first one out of two.

Gyoza: Yes. Crispy, good flavor, and good sauce. Textbook gyoza here, I would order this again, it's nothing to rave about but that this is good solid gyoza, it's definitely worth ordering.

Wings: good, not dry, the sauce it came covered in felt a touch out of place. But by no means bad, the white sauce it comes to dip with, makes the combo better than just by itself. I'd probably order these again, I feel this is more up to your palate, and based on that you might love them.

Service 2/5 This is where the bigger problem starts. We had multiple people who were nice and even an order wrong but they corrected it and that was nice, one younger lady held the demeanor of someone who had a grudge towards you, I'm generally a very nice person who loves to treat waiters. D waitresses with fairness, I clean up after myself, and tip 30-200% regularly, I keep orders simple, and I'm incredibly patient even when orders take forever. I'd hate to think the problem was me, trying to ask her a question about the bill she maintained eye contact but kept walking away which felt disrespectful. Throughout the night many efforts to wave her down failed even when she was only 10 feet away. I get it, you're cleaning but don't do it 20 minutes straight and never check on your table until the end of the night. She unfortunately still received a 20% which I shouldn't have given, and even then we gave the band that was playing live music more than our waitress. It wasn't busy on a Friday night around 8:15-9:00, we sat outside for reference.

Dear business owners and managers, please get rid of the poisons in your business, it's not worth keeping them, especially in...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — A Hidden Gem for Foodies and Anime Lovers Alike!

After an exciting night at the K-Pop Demon Hunters event, my friends and I decided to keep the vibe going and head to Hanzo, and let me tell you, this spot did not disappoint!

I had never been before, but my friends promised good food, anime vibes, and a great atmosphere. They undersold it. From the moment we walked in, I was hooked.

Hanzo’s aesthetics are absolutely amazing, a perfect blend of modern, moody lighting and bold anime-inspired decor. Every corner is Instagram-worthy, including the bathroom, which has a super cute mural featuring a mash-up of classic and new-school anime and live-action favorites. Whether you’re seated inside surrounded by cool art or enjoying the fresh air on their stylish outdoor patio, the vibe is on point. They’ve truly thought of everything.

Now let’s talk about the food and drinks, because wow. I had the ramen and the sticky ribs, and both were a straight 10/10. The ribs? Absolute perfection. BBQ’d just right, fall-off-the-bone tender with a sauce that hit every note: not too sweet, not too tangy, just the ideal balance of bold, smoky, and savory. The ramen was equally impressive. The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting, and the pork was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I could’ve eaten a second bowl. (Okay, maybe I tried.) I also had a cocktail with Midori, pineapple, and egg whites, can’t remember the name, but I’ll definitely remember the taste. Smooth, refreshing, and beautifully balanced.

Bonus: Hanzo has really great happy hour times and prices! If you’re looking for delicious bites and drinks without breaking the bank, this is the perfect spot to swing by after work or before a night out. The value is just as impressive as the quality.

The service? Top-tier. Our server was kind, attentive, and made sure everything came out hot and fast. What truly stood out was the presence of the general manager, who came over to chat with us. Super friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly hands-on with the team, the kind of leadership you feel in the flow of the restaurant. Love seeing management genuinely involved and supporting their staff.

The overall atmosphere is chill and welcoming. The music was modern and upbeat but not too loud, we could easily laugh, chat, and still vibe with the playlist. It felt like the perfect blend of cool and cozy.

Bottom line: Hanzo is more than just dinner, it’s an experience. Whether you’re an anime fan, a foodie, or just looking for a unique and inviting spot to hang with friends, this place delivers on all fronts. I’ll...

So friends and I went Saturday evening and the place was full so we sat outside. Atmosphere was still great but my disappointment came with some of the changes that are being made. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the new ramen… I always order some of the spicy rolls and Ramen and this time around it was not my ramen. Was still good but definitely not the same, almost like they were trying too hard to make it look fancy with all the garnishing. My spicy salmon roll ended up being put on the same plate as another order of sushi at my table so it was eaten by my friends because even our waiter didn’t know they had put two of the sushi orders on one plate. We didn’t figure it out until after the fact and that could have been very bad since a friend of mine is extremely allergic to avocado and if i had ordered one with that in it she would of had to go straight to the hospital. The replacement rolls i got were rushed in the preparation so they were kind of mushy and falling apart.

My biggest concern was when i went to pay, they didn’t tell me they had added the automatic gratuity and didn’t bring an itemized receipt until i asked because I needed to understand how my tab jumped to $70 before i calculated my tip. I don’t like places that do automatic gratuity just because it’s a group, I don’t feel anyone should feel like they have a right to demand or dictate how much i am comfortable or can afford to tip someone. Our waiter was awesome and would have gotten a good tip regardless but i really dislike establishments who feel entitled to my money when tipping is optional. I always tip but that should be my choice. Them not telling me just kind of felt sneaky too but that maybe because I overall didn’t enjoy my time this time around. Very disappointing visit and I miss the old Hanzos. I’ll give the changes one more try before I decide if I’m done with the...

My first visit to Hanzo was an experience I’m eager to repeat. Arriving during happy hour, I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive selection of drinks and food, all at unbeatable prices. The atmosphere of the place set the perfect backdrop for what was to become a delightful culinary adventure. Although the food and drinks took a while to arrive, the wait was well worth it. Among the highlights were the spicy edamame, which packed just the right amount of heat, and the pork belly bao. Notably, the bao buns came deconstructed, adding a fun, interactive element to the meal as I got to assemble them myself. This unique touch made the dish even more enjoyable. The sushi rolls deserve a special mention for their deliciousness and freshness. Each roll was a testament to the quality of ingredients and the skill of the chefs, making them a memorable part of the meal. While the wait time might deter some, I see it as a minor hiccup in what was otherwise a flawless dining experience. The quality and value of the offerings during happy hour, combined with the fun of assembling my bao and the excellence of the sushi rolls, are reasons enough to plan a return visit. Next time, I intend to bring more friends to share in the joy of discovering Hanzo’s culinary delights. In sum, Hanzo has earned a spot on my list of favorite dining destinations. Its combination of delicious food, great prices, and a charming atmosphere, coupled with the freshness of the sushi rolls and the novelty of deconstructed bao buns, make it a place I’ll be talking about for a long time—and eagerly anticipating my next visit.
