I would like to share my experiences in finding a home for my wife that fulfilled my criteria. I was more interested in a “fit” that would be a place that felt like home and had an atmosphere of family and friends that I could TRUST.
I first explored all the “Big Box” assisted living and memory care facilities. After many many interviews I found them to be too sterile for what I had in mind. Usually they had the assisted living, and the memory care separated. Usually, the memory care residents were basically being “warehoused”. For example, they could have 25 residents but only a couple of caregivers to tend to their needs. The facilities were normally very fancy but the care was not the one to one type of care I was looking for.
I then found out about someone who had converted a house into a facility. I very much liked the idea of fewer residents. But the ones I looked at I was not impressed with the staff and the house was not a “home”. This led me to other houses but I always came away feeling that they did not have that “home” vibe I was looking for.
Through a friend of our daughter’s, we were referred to Laurie and Jason Daniels’ Premier Assisted Living facility. First of all, I felt the vibes from Laurie as someone who really and truly cared about everything and everyone she was responsible for. She was going to see that things were to be done correctly and more importantly lovingly. After reading her biography I knew she had seen it all. Then I met Jason and I knew he would be the guy to get things done no matter what. The combination was what I wanted. I knew I could place my TRUST to take care of my Wife.
I cannot say enough about the Staff. They are upbeat. They don’t just care for the residents they love on all their residents… genuinely. They have that “one to one” type care that I was looking for in providing a “home atmosphere”. Being here is like kicking back at your house. They celebrate birthdays with music and cake, Mother’s Day with sashes and tiaras, and there is always music. It truly is a loving fun place to be. Try that at a Big Box facility!
I could go on but one of the greatest things is they treat our family members like they are their family members. They celebrate our family’s adventures right along with us. Shared texting keeps my wife’s life in real time with our family. I feel now that she is now at home. She is genuinely Happy and I do not have to worry about her because I have learned to TRUST Laura, Jason and our extended family (Staff) ---- that is Priceless.

As the Assisted Living Manager at Premier Assisted Living, I am proud to serve alongside our incredible caregivers, residents, and families. Every day, I see the dedication and compassion our team brings into the home—we work together to provide high-quality, person-centered care that supports not only our residents but their families as well.
Since opening, Premier Assisted Living has been blessed to remain at full capacity with a waiting list. Our caregivers are highly trained professionals who go above and beyond to ensure each resident feels safe, respected, and cared for. The love and commitment they show every day are what make our home so special.
We are a fully licensed Type B Residential Care Home, regulated by the state, and we’ve earned a strong reputation among families, hospice teams, physicians, and other healthcare partners. The kind words and compliments we receive are humbling and a true reminder of why we do what we do.
We deeply value every family that entrusts us with their loved one’s care. For those exploring our community, I’d be glad to arrange a tour when an opening becomes available. I can also provide family references as well as professional references from visiting physicians, hospice providers, nurses, chaplains, and social workers who know our home well.
It is an honor to care for your loved ones, and I remain committed—along with our entire team—to providing compassionate, ethical, and attentive care every single day.

Read moreVisited Premier Assisted Living as my rehab social worker recommend her aggressively. I later found out social worker gets a finders fee! Probably so illegal at least immoral. Mother could no longer be at home and got physical therapy so we were looking for a small facility. It was a bad experience visiting Premier. They don't have qualified staff and seem annoyed to help and were rude to families there. The food looked poorly cooked and we saw a family in tears complaining about something. A lady was moving her mother out and pulled me aside to tell me that owner Laura Daniels is hardly there. She apparently has a side gig pushing families mostly to find unlicensed care homes and not focused on running her own facility. Says the right things but doesn't do the right thing. I didn't feel comfortable selecting Premier and she tried to push me to an unlicensed home. I found a licensed residential facility with a great reputation and glad we chose it as owner is always there and his staff are amazing. I'm writing this review because I think she has a conflict of interest running a facility while trying to do placements to unlicensed homes and was not happy how she treated me when I refused to take my mom to an unlicensed home. Something is off there. I called the rehab directors to complain about the social worker pushing me on Laura. We need more ethical people in healthcare and social workers should know better. Just my experience, each family has to choose...
