SCAM ALERT SHAM B ALERT JUST STAY ALERT
I had the great misfortune to have my car towed by New Era Towing at 2:09 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 by New Era Towing aided, apparently property management and an obscure BURNTsign at the ONLY entry into the trailer park. Pictures taken clearly show a sign that is in desperately dire NEED of replacement. My question? Why only one sign? So, ignorant disabled guest, on a fixed income can pay 260.00 fixed income dollars to regain use of their vehicle. Or best money making scam ever. I made the mistake of calling when the property manager started l work that a.m. I must have been the sole tow because, she quickly identified my VW car and provide the name of the tow service adding that there is a no curb parking from12 a.m to 6 a.m.. if the only sign had been readable and/or prominently located. Here bigger is definite plus. When she added "have a nice day". Only part missing was "sucker". The sad part is here it's private property so anything goes as permitted by the owner. Did I mention the car has disabled plates (no impact on the tow company. Based.on.preliminary numbers more signs are viable. Even a warning at various locations throughout the park would help. I vote curbs, hands down.might help. If curbside is forbidden Where red isn't necessary I say paint them yellow..Right now nothing but gray curb.. I.did not see any streets being swept or nightly maintenance underway. Didn't even see the tow truck but did see the faring fly from under my car after parting with my cash. The inspection sheet, what inspection, a joke. Yes, place the blame on me.. all my fault should have seen the sign.. actually if I could have read then sign would have helped.. No wait. I couldn't read the sign. It was wee hours in the a.m. and the sign was purposely made of no use by.....hmmmm dare I try to guess. Does the length of this review speak to my anger and lots of it. Yes, yes, and yes. Here is the kicker. USE SOME OF THE MONEY SQUEEZED FROM US "SUCKERS" AND REPLACE THE USELESS SIGN AND MORE OF IT TO BUY OTHERS OR PAINT. The fact that you know the parking rules don't help those of us who live elsewhere. Unless your residents are getting "kickback cash". Anything...
Read moreI live in the mobile home park and I decided to have my sonâs first birthday at the clubhouse. I gave the $150 deposit which I was told I would get back if the clubhouse was left clean (restrooms clean, floors swept and mopped, kitchen clean). I gave them the remaining $200 by the date they told me to because why wouldnât I? Itâs my sonâs first birthday party, I wouldnât risk anything ruining it. I was called a few days before the party and the day before the party stating they couldnât find the receipt that I had paid the $200 and they considered not letting me rent the clubhouse the day before the party unless i found the receipt that they gave me. I could not find it but they let me rent the clubhouse anyway hence the 2 starts. I was under the impression that I would still get my deposit back if I left the place clean. I called a few days later and they stated that I would not get the deposit back since they have no proof of me paying the $200. Had I been told that prior to the party, I would not have wasted mine and my familyâs time leaving the place clean. Although I should have kept my receipt in a safe place, they are a business and it is unprofessional of them to have lost their copy of the receipt, knowing they have those carbon copy receipt pads and a copy machine. Iâm also sure they have someone handling their money and would be able to recognize when they have an extra $200 unaccounted for. Their cameras coincidentally donât go back far enough to prove anything. All this to say, if you rent their clubhouse, keep your receipts or they might lose their copy and keep...
Read moreTucked away off San Pedro near Hollywood Park but on the opposite side of the fence is this little anti gem of a trailer park. Riddles with about 60% decent people struggling to make and 40% of not so desirable people... this place is lends itself to lots of drugs crime and general Mayhem. On any given day you'll probably see EMS or the police picking up a body or arresting someone. But if you can look past all that it's actually a pretty cool little place to live if you've got the cojones to do it and you don't mind jail as a second home-away-from-home kind of vacation spot. A lot of homeless and mentally ill people seem to have landed here and a few old bitties just won't let it go... that urge to clean up the place ..so it makes it a rather interesting place to be, always fireworks. If there aren't then you know something really bad is about to happen. But you didn't hear that from me your level 2...
