Jack in the Box is a well-known fast food chain specializing in a diverse menu, including burgers, chicken, tacos, coffee, and breakfast items. While the brand has established a reputation for variety and convenience, our experiences at this particular location have been mixed and left much room for improvement.
On our first visit, we decided to try the Jr. Jack Jumbo Cheeseburger combos. The staff was attentive and provided prompt service, which was a definite plus. Their friendliness contributed to a positive first impression. However, the food was underwhelming. The burgers lacked flavor, with the bun feeling subpar and not adding much to the burger’s overall quality. Additionally, considering the bland taste, the price felt a little steep. Beyond the food, the environment was another significant drawback - this location was not clean, and we noticed several homeless individuals moving around inside. While we sympathize with the challenges faced by unhoused individuals, the lack of security made us feel uneasy, ultimately shortening our stay.
Despite our initial experience, we returned to give this location another shot, opting this time for a Vanilla Sweet Cream Iced Coffee ordered through their self-service kiosk. Unfortunately, the cleanliness issues persisted - tables had leftovers scattered on them, and the overall atmosphere didn’t leave the best impression. That said, the service was once again quick, and the coffee turned out to be quite enjoyable. The drink was flavorful, refreshing, and reasonably priced. In contrast to our burger experience, this coffee order was a highlight of the visit.
While Jack in the Box has its strengths, including friendly service, fast preparation, and some solid menu items like the Vanilla Sweet Cream Iced Coffee, this specific location does have some issues that need addressing. The uncleanliness of the dining area and the lack of security are significant drawbacks that can detract from the overall dining experience. For these reasons, we would recommend relying on the mobile app or using the drive-thru to place your orders at this location. Dining in may not be the most comfortable choice given the surrounding environment.
This Jack in the Box location offers some redeeming qualities, but it needs to improve its cleanliness, maintenance, and overall atmosphere to truly elevate the customer experience. They forgot one of my Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger meals! I called to let the store know and a lady named Elisa answered the phone on the other end, I let he know that I was missing one of the bacon, ultimate cheeseburger meals, she was so so adamant that she packed everything correctly. I kept telling her it was missing, but she just didn’t want to get it, she kept over talking me didn’t let me get a word in, she had to be right, she kept getting louder every time said something about the missing meal, she was very rude and unprofessional. She even said she’d check the cameras, and prove she packed everything up, I kept repeating my order and someone In the background of jack-in-the-box said yes it was missing that meal, after all this time and This lady Elisa knowing the meal was definitely missing she told me there was nothing she could do! She couldn’t make the mail to handed to me. She couldn’t even give me a refund. She couldn’t do anything like are you serious! I was like, "How am I supposed to give everyone their meals when one person is missing their meal? That’s just not fair!" But she didn’t care at all. She said I had to deal with it in the morning with the lead supervisor and then after all this time arguing back-and-forth, she had the audacity to just hang up in my face!!!! I called back and no answer so, at this point, I was already frustrated and irritated because now I have to deal with it in the morning I expected way better service from Jack-in-the-Box, but this lady, Elisa, should not be working the overnight shift if she can’t do her job right. It was such a frustrating experience! Because of this, one person didn’t get their meal, so no one could enjoy their meals. It’s just rude to eat in front of someone who’s missing out. I will NEVER go back to this Jack-in-the-Box location again! As long as I see this lady Elisa at the window I will keep passing, I’ve never dealt with such trash service before, and I’m never stepping foot in that place again. Read moreI went at 730pm on a Sunday and dealt with some of the most incompetent employees of my life. Not only did they get my simple order of a sandwich and fries wrong, but I had to wait behind someone at the window who had a large order. Normally this would be no problem, but after several minutes they pulled over to the side. I pull up and pay for my meal, and then I have to sit there and wait while they prepared the large order for the customer before me, as well as other orders for people behind the counter. When the large order was finished, one of the girls at the counter almost gave it all to me, but then she stared at the screen for 10 seconds before going outside to give the person before me their order. There's no reason why they should have pulled over to the side if their order was finished first, and I really don't see how hard it is to make a sandwhich and put fries in a bag so I don't have to wait twice for the same large order....
