Updated Rating: (1 â) Last time I came here I ordered a kafta (sandwich) and got a shawerma (a wrap/burrito), this time I asked before ordering if the kafta was a sandwich & the woman taking my order said "Yes, sandwich- we can do sandwich for you." So I ordered & waited. I get my bag and look in & OF COURSE it's a wrap. So I tell her, "I ordered a sandwich, you told me this wasn't a wrap." To which she responds "it's the same thing." No. It's. Not. Needless to say, I won't be returning here.

Let me start by saying that what I got was delicious. However, I must say, I'm pretty disappointed, as what I got was not at all what I ordered. I came here, because I used to live in Germany & I've been hunting for a local dive that does döner kebabs like I had in Germany. I ordered a #13 kafta. Which looks identical to the döners that I've been hunting for. Needless to say, I was surprised when the server handed me a wrap. I asked her about it & pointed out the difference between their menu photo of what I ordered and what I actually received & she said the kafta is chicken. I said the meat wasn't what I was questioning, it was the bread. She told me they just put it on that bread for the photo to show you what's in the sandwich. Unfortunately, that doesn't make sense either as the wrap I got has beef, but according to the server, the kafta sandwich I ordered is chicken...? Smh. My chicken sandwich became a beef wrap. It's only a sandwich in the photo. It's a wrap when you receive it. It's basically a Shawerma. It tastes better than most Shawerma's that I've had, here in SoCal- but it's not the döner kebab that I had ordered, so the false advertising really let me down... Still gave 3 stars, because the food was stellar....
Read moreI had been coming from Jury Duty and decided to pop in for a taste, I had seen this on google before but never actually ventured out to taste it. I arrived at the building and walked inside, there was no greeting and it actually seemed like the place was closed. I waited patiently at the counter and was greeted after a few minutes, I conversed pleasantly with the Cashier and ordered a Gyro Wrap, I then waited a few minutes where upon I was given the item and left after saying my goodbyes.
I have to say though I am disappointed by the wrap overall, the taste of the meat was bland and I might be wrong but it definitely looked to be old. The sauce itself was non-existent to my tongue and felt more like lubrication to make the wrap go down easier. The lettuce/tomatoes were fresh and taste good I will admit as well as their pickles they had on. I was not happy that my bread had started to fall apart on me as I was eating which made the eating experience that much worse. All in all, I do not believe I will be coming back here sadly but I do wish them success and who knows maybe in the future I'll come back and...
Read moreIm shocked this place has as high of a rating as this (4.6). It's never a good sign when you go to a place that sells food and there's almost nobody there (myself, my girlfriend, a security, and one lady) during lunch time. Also not a good sign when you walk in and realize the building is/was leasing sections to several business (like a mall) but they were all empty and trashed up except for this place. The food was subpar in quality, not a good representation of persian food. It had a cheap taste to it but at least it wasn't awful and the portions were okay. It's not cheap in price either so I just don't see a scenario in which coming here would be a good idea unless you're really craving some persian food but not willing to drive far enoguh to a decent place. Don't come here, sorry to the owners...
